Elinor Nygren Szapiro
Licensed Professional Counselor, MA LPC, EMDR II, Brainspotting Certification, Hypnotherapy
Dealing with OCD can be overwhelming . It can feel as if your thoughts are out of your control and are causing intense stress or even distress. Fortunately, there is a new method to effectively deal with out of control OCD thoughts. It is based on the emerging scientific research that shows the "neuroplasticity" of the brain. This means that the neural networks, the thinking patterns, of the brain are not "written in stone" and can be changed. There are specific protocols to change these neural networks and calm the OCD thoughts through the neurophysiological, mind/body technique called Brainspotting. I am trained in this method and would be happy to help you with it.

Tammy Neil
Licensed Professional Counselor, Ph.D.
OCD is often misunderstood. Obsessive compulsive disorder is more than washing your hands obsessively. It is
a mental illness that causes repeated unwanted thoughts or obsessions and urges to do something over and over again (compulsions). There are many different therapies to help get these thoughts under control.

Devon Davasher
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW, CCM, CFSW, Master ART Practitioner
I work with adults struggling with intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, mental rituals, reassurance seeking, and the exhaustion that often comes with OCD. Therapy can help you better understand the cycle, reduce shame, build distress tolerance, and respond to obsessive patterns in more effective ways.
