I understand how much our cultural programming has created psychological and practical problems for us, and it is essential to find ways to reject what is hurting us. This goes beyond misogyny to include other social constructs, such as race. Our social structures impact us in many practical ways and influence what we perceive as possible for ourselves. In my experience, freeing ourselves from internalized misogyny is crucial. Can we own our 'no,' our needs, and our desires with clarity? Can we proudly embody being female and live it from a place of strength and freedom, rather than trying to fulfill societal standards?
