London, England therapist: Lisa Sanfilippo, therapist
Serving Black / African American

Lisa Sanfilippo

Therapist, MA, MSc, UKCP, MBACP
Even if you start therapy to help you out of a dark or difficult time, it is a great gift that you give to yourself. We learn a great deal about ourselves, about others and ultimately about living with more ease and enjoyment. We can get curious about what you learnt growing up and in your life to date that created your world-view, your assumptions and even your body's responses to the situations you face. We'll learn about how you relate to your world in ways that *work* for you, as well as where these ways of relating are causing pain or limiting you. We will find your best ways to unblock and release those old responses. The goal: to help you to be more at-ease and authentically yourself and in relation to friends, family, work and other important people and situations. I believe every one of us has a soul-nature and way of being that works well for us and it's our job to work with that. I work with an integrative palette of approaches and tools, and share them with you in our conversations. A good deal of our work will involve not just thoughts and feelings, but how they land in your body. When we start to shift what is available to our felt-sense, our perceptions and actions can shift dramatically. This is one of the things I love about the recent post-graduate training I've undertaken in Somatic Experiencing. I'm at the Intermediate level in this method and it informs my approach to trauma, to neurodiversity and to relationships. I've also undertaken significant studies in ADHD and autism to help work with neurodivergence.

I am a globally certified relationship and marriage coach, licensed Counsellor, seasoned Therapist. My years of hands-on experience cut across relationship therapy, marital counselling, business coaching, career mentorship, grief/trauma/addiction recovery, etc. I possess grandiose expertise in listening, absorbing and analyzing human problems without prejudice. As an individual who has experienced life from all angles (right from a tender age), I am apparently in a better position to counsel and admonish individuals who battle with depression, anxiety, retrogression/set backs, financial turmoils, addiction, emotional/domestic abuse, rejection, youthful exuberance, juvenile delinquency, child abuse, marital/family crisis, etc. My professional background makes me capable of being a great confidant and less judgmental. London, England therapist: Louise Perry, registered psychotherapist
Serving Black / African American

Louise Perry

Registered Psychotherapist, IFS UKCP HCCP BAAT
I work as an integrative art psychotherapist and IFS practitioner, offering a thoughtful and collaborative way of working. Therapy with me doesn’t need to involve art unless it feels useful; some sessions focus on conversation, while others may use images, objects, or simple creative materials to explore experiences that are difficult to put into words. Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent many years working in design and technology. That background continues to shape how I work – I’m interested in patterns, systems, and how different parts interact, both internally and in our wider lives. My decision to retrain grew out of lived experience as well as professional curiosity, and I bring both into the therapy room. I work in an engaged, grounded way, staying close to what matters and adjusting pace as needed. Clients often come to me when they want to understand themselves more clearly, work with complexity rather than bypass it, and make changes that feel considered and sustainable.
