James Darby

Registered Psychotherapist, Postgraduate Diploma Core Process Psychotherapy, DCHyp, ABSCH, MBA
Consulting from a private practice in Fulham and Chelsea in London, I employ a combination of mindfulness-based interventions and psychotherapy as a gateway to change, encouraging clients how to come into relationship with their own thoughts, feelings and habitual behaviours rather than wrestle with them. London, England therapist: Louise Perry, registered psychotherapist
Serving Buddhist

Louise Perry

Registered Psychotherapist, IFS UKCP HCCP BAAT
I work as an integrative art psychotherapist and IFS practitioner, offering a thoughtful and collaborative way of working. Therapy with me doesn’t need to involve art unless it feels useful; some sessions focus on conversation, while others may use images, objects, or simple creative materials to explore experiences that are difficult to put into words. Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent many years working in design and technology. That background continues to shape how I work – I’m interested in patterns, systems, and how different parts interact, both internally and in our wider lives. My decision to retrain grew out of lived experience as well as professional curiosity, and I bring both into the therapy room. I work in an engaged, grounded way, staying close to what matters and adjusting pace as needed. Clients often come to me when they want to understand themselves more clearly, work with complexity rather than bypass it, and make changes that feel considered and sustainable.

Christchurch, England therapist: Saffron Marriner, counselor/therapist
Serving Buddhist

Saffron Marriner

Counsellor/Therapist, MBACP (Accred)
My name is Saffron. I am an accredited member of the BACP and have been practicing as a counsellor and psychotherapist for twenty years both within an agency setting as well as within my private practice, where I offer face to face, online, telephone and walk and talk appointments. I have worked with clients across the age range of 16 up to and past the retirement age. The service that I offer welcomes people from all backgrounds in a way which is non discriminatory and supportive. Counselling offers an opportunity to process personal challenges and difficulties within an environment that is supportive and confidential. At times this might include discussing painful and uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, emotions. You are not alone with this as many people experience these at different points of their lives. When this is happening it can be hard to remain in a positive and focused frame of mind. Sometimes people feel overwhelmed and feel unable to continue to cope in the way that they usually could with their life on a day to day basis. One of the ways that counselling can help is by providing a space to process personal, behavioural and relationship issues in a safe and confidential way with a qualified professional. My role is to support you with this process in a way that is non judgmental, free from criticism or giving advice as to what I believe is the right thing for you to do. By working together in this way I am there alongside you as you find your own answers in a way that is right for you as we are all individual and unique and what is right for one person may not feel right for someone else. Of course you don't have to tell me everything about yourself and your life if you are not comfortable with this however you may find it beneficial to be as open and honest as you are able to be.
