My name is Saffron. I am an accredited member of the BACP and have been practicing as a counsellor and psychotherapist for twenty years both within an agency setting as well as within my private practice, where I offer face to face, online, telephone and walk and talk appointments. I have worked with clients across the age range of 14 up to and past the retirement age. The service that I offer welcomes people from all backgrounds in a way which is non discriminatory and supportive. Counselling offers an opportunity to process personal challenges and difficulties within an environment that is supportive and confidential. At times this might include discussing painful and uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, emotions. You are not alone with this as many people experience these at different points of their lives. When this is happening it can be hard to remain in a positive and focused frame of mind. Sometimes people feel overwhelmed and feel unable to continue to cope in the way that they usually could with their life on a day to day basis. One of the ways that counselling can help is by providing a space to process personal, behavioural and relationship issues in a safe and confidential way with a qualified professional. My role is to support you with this process in a way that is non judgmental, free from criticism or giving advice as to what I believe is the right thing for you to do. By working together in this way I am there alongside you as you find your own answers in a way that is right for you as we are all individual and unique and what is right for one person may not feel right for someone else. Of course you don't have to tell me everything about yourself and your life if you are not comfortable with this however you may find it beneficial to be as open and honest as you are able to be.

I am a Psychotraumatologist and work in Harley Street, London & Milton Keynes, as an Integrative Counsellor / Psychotherapist / Hypnotherapist . I am an Author, Senior Lecturer and experienced Conference Speaker. I am part of the Expert Witness programme in UK.

My Work: This has included my work for various large Multi-National and National Companies, such as Babcock International, ITV- Television, The Royal Mail and Her Majesty’s Prison Service; including work for local authorities – Social Services. Also for occupational health / eap's, and Insurance Companies, Solicitors, Immigration, Disabilities PIP. Employers.
I help with Anxieties, Depression / Fears & Phobias, Personality Disorders, Sexuality / Relationships / Rape / Violence / Complex - Combat Trauma / PTSD, Abuse / Family / Children and support those with personality disorders. I have an Enhanced DBS including the Barred Listings for Vulnerable Adults and Chidren. I am currently insured for £10 million public liability.
Part of my service is to also produce Personal Psychotrauma Psychotherapy Assessment Reports where necessary, at very reasonable rates. Fast Therapy is offered at the Psych-Trauma Surgery here, Convergence Counselling Services London (CCSL) agency & the NewStart Services in Central Milton Keynes.
Our Therapy is 'means' tested and we may offer you concessionary fees for counselling and only £50 for full psychotherapy assessments. Our caring work does not usually allow low finances to prevent access to therapy.

NewStart Service: There is also regular weekly counselling at our NewStart Drop-In & Counselling Service in CMK, run by volunteers, which is on a first come first served basis when a volunteer is in attendance through the week. This is a two tier service and is a Free Drop-In for crisis listening and then after assessment or £20, regular counselling will be means tested priced from only £20 per session and we have many therapist available there and in our local private practice with regular Psychotherapy from £50.
Please Note: My work at The Lifescript Clinic of Harley Street in London, is priced from over £250 per session, due to location costs and my personal experience level offered, see web site. I also offer some private charitable pro-bono work, at the NewStart Drop-In service in CMK too.
For Major Trauma Therapy (C-PTSD & PTSD) in MK, my fees are usually around £80-99, single session for those who are currently employed and is means tested also.
