Julie Jenner
Counsellor/Therapist, BA(Hons), NCS Senior Accredited
I am a neurodivergent counsellor who was very late in getting diagnosed, with plenty of lived experience of what it is like to live not feeling like I quite fit in, and of the journey into learning about my differences, and how to create a life that suits me now.
I embrace your unique otherness, and we will work out together to discover what works best for you. As we get to know each other, I will support you to discover what changes you would like to make, and how you can work towards making it happen.

John Castleford
Registered Psychotherapist, MA, MIAEB, FRAI
I have been a psychotherapist and mental health coach for many years, and I now specialise almost exclusively in helping those with, or recovering from, cancer. It's a debilitating disease that I have experienced twice, so I know at first hand the effect it can have on the quality of life and particularly how it makes us feel -- either as a reaction to being diagnosed and undergoing treatment, or when in remission as a survivor, the fear of it recurring.
I can also help family members and close friends, who often feel helpless bystanders.
We have all experienced our feelings dominating what we think, and what we do. But heightened emotions stop us thinking clearly. And that can often lead us to feel out of control.
Unlike many therapists, I do not believe that the adverse effect on our thinking and our behaviour from a life-changing event like cancer is a dysfunctional flaw or a disorder that needs treatment. Typical reactions to cancer --anxiety, fear, stress and low mood -- are part of life. Why cancer often triggers is a range of reactions: shock and denial; Shock and denial that it is happening. Coping with fear, anxiety and panic can be difficult, particularly as mood swings may frequently change. Feelings of sadness may range from low moof to extreme depression.
Ultimately we know, at a rational level, that we are mortal. But we also have we also have a very strong instinct to survive. We want to live. And enjoy life. Cancer is not the death sentence it once was.
I can help you come to terms with the reality as well as the inevitable perceptions that may influence you. And I can help you to flourish, rather than just cope and survive.

Samantha Coleman
Therapist, MBACP Prof Dip
I work in a warm, informal, and deeply human way. I see you as the expert on yourself, and my role is to help you make sense of what lies beneath the surface: your patterns, relationships, wounds, pressures, and life experiences. I bring together genuine warmth, honest connection, deep pattern recognition, and a structured approach, so that therapy feels both easy to step into and meaningful in what it uncovers. I believe the best therapy happens when you can be real, speak freely, and feel understood without having to perform or pretend.
