Dr. Stéphanie Gamache, PhD, Hypnotherapist in New York City, NY
Serving Jewish

Dr. Stéphanie Gamache, PhD

Hypnotherapist, PhD
Something in you knows that what you're carrying runs deeper than the presenting problem. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and outwardly composed-yet internally they live with anxiety, depression, chronic tension or pain, relentless self-criticism, or a sense that something essential is blocked, muted, or just out of reach. These struggles may surface in mood, in the body, in behavior, or in relationships-including sexuality and intimacy-but they are rarely contained to any one area. They tend to reflect deeper emotional and relational patterns formed early in life, often before language, that continue to shape how a person approaches closeness, vulnerability, agency, pleasure, and self-expression. My work centers on how early experience shapes the capacity for self-regulation, desire, connection, and meaning throughout life-and particularly on how people come to know what they need and want, how they learn to express or inhibit those impulses, and what happens when these capacities become conflicted, constricted, or difficult to sustain. I integrate psychoanalytic hypnotherapy, somatic awareness, and clinical sexology within a reflective, depth-oriented process. Hypnosis functions as a central clinical tool-creating conditions for deeper internal contact with emotional, bodily, and unconscious experience that can be difficult to reach through conversation alone. The aim is not only relief from symptoms, but the development of a more coherent and compassionate relationship with one's inner life: sensations, emotions, impulses, and desires. This work is oriented toward lasting psychological change-and toward greater freedom in how one relates to oneself, one's body, and one's capacity for connection, authenticity, and vitality. It is best suited to those ready to move beyond symptom management toward something more fundamental.

Jenna Sackman - Online/Virtual Therapy

Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC, LPC
I specialize in working with individuals (children, teens and adults) and couples, and I am incredibly passionate about the work I do and the people with whom I have the honor to work. My areas of expertise are anxiety / stress, relationship challenges, conflict resolution, intrusive negative thoughts and patterns, loss/grief and depression. Most clients and couples choose to work with me because they are looking for nontraditional therapy that provides them with concrete skills to improve their everyday lives and/or address specific concerns. Holistic and integrative in my approach, I believe that there is no "one size fits all" in therapy. Therefore, I uniquely tailor therapy sessions to meet each client's needs and goals. With extensive experience and training in results oriented and solutions focused cognitive therapies, positive psychology, mindfulness, Buddhist Psychology, Gottman Method for Couples, meditation, and yoga, I offer creative approaches that result in meaningful change and growth. Dr. Lyndsay Elliott

Psychologist, PsyD.
My approach to therapy is straightforward — understand what is getting in the way, figure out why, and build a clear path forward. I work with adults, couples, and high-achieving professionals who are ready to make real changes, not just talk about them. I am Dr. Lyndsay Elliott, a licensed clinical psychologist with a PsyD and a postdoctoral fellowship from UCLA. For over 20 years I have provided evidence-based psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, consultations and expert witness testimony to clients navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, chronic stress, relationship conflict, narcissistic abuse recovery, couples conflict, infertility, reproductive mental health, postpartum depression, family conflict, and major life transitions. My style is warm and engaged, but also direct. Therapy should be useful — sessions that deliver genuine insight, practical tools, and honest feedback that actually moves the needle. Skye D Ross, EMDR Therapist for High Achieving Women

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW, PMH-C, MPH, EMDR-Certified Therapist & Consultant In Training
If you're a top-performing woman who is juggling the dream of "having it all" with the reality of "doing it all," welcome. One thing about me is that I keep it real in therapy: The reality of being a woman in healthcare and a therapist is that we may know all things we should be doing, and we also know how hard it can be to do those things. We'll build insight and work through the challenges that come up along the way. My specialties are supporting women through the burnout of being a parent and high-achieving professional, vicarious trauma, and workplace trauma.
