The site wants me to write a short paragraph on self-esteem. But I have posted a blog on this site as well as a longer version on my own, and if you go to one of those, it will most likely give you the information you're looking for. I'm assuming it's low self-esteem you're having a problem with. Rarely if ever has someone come in with too high self-esteem being a problem. But who knows, maybe someday I will. In the meantime, you can work through your self-esteem issues. Check out the blog posts and see if any of it resonates.

If you are on this page, you are likely dealing with the limitations that come with low self-esteem. You want to feel more confidence and at ease but can't figure out how. Should we work together, we will seek to understand how this issue arose, allowing us to direct compassion to the parts of you that are more vulnerable. By working towards inner peace, I have found in my experience as a therapist, the path forward in the outside world will follow.

Low self-esteem can impact every aspect of our lives, but it doesn't have to define us. In therapy, you'll find a safe and supportive space where you can explore the root causes of your self-esteem issues, challenge negative beliefs about yourself, and learn to cultivate a more positive and compassionate self-image.

There is difference between Self Esteem and Self-Worth, though often used interchangeably. Building positive self esteem is how we evaluate ourselves. It is our internal assessment of our qualities and attributes. We have healthy self esteem when what we think, feel and believe about ourselves is honest and realistic. Unhealthy self esteem can lead to the trap of Narcissism. Low self-esteem is underestimating or ignoring your positive characteristics. Do you tell yourself that you are stupid, lazy, boring, selfish, or generally a bad person because of the things you think, say or do? Through various modalities and new learning, I will help you build skills of positive self-esteem and especially realize your intrinsic value, goodness and capabilities i.e. your Self-Worth.
