Experiencing loss or grief can be one of the most challenging and isolating times in life. Whether it's the passing of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or any significant change, these emotions can feel overwhelming. It's important to remember that you're not alone in this journey. Allow yourself to grieve and process these feelings at your own pace. Embracing the pain while also seeking support—whether through friends, family, or professional help—can aid in healing. Together, we can honor the memories, navigate the emotions, and find a path toward acceptance and hope. Your feelings are valid, and there is a way forward, even in the midst of deep sorrow.

Registered Psychotherapist, RP, PhD
Please contact me if you'd like information about a 10 week long grief group therapy program beginning mid to late October provided at $80 per group session. One of the greatest challenges in life we will have to navigate without being prepared to do so is loss and grief. If we talk to just about anybody, we will find out that just about everyone has experienced a loss, loss of relationship or marriage, loss of a job or professional standing, health related losses or loss of functioning, which can all impact sense of self and who we believe we can become across the lifespan. A significant loss is a loss of loved one that can tear our world apart and leave is feeling with overwhelming waves of emotions that we are unsure of how to navigate or cope with. While we can make sense logically that we are mortal beings and that a loved one has died, emotionally, the absence of our loved one may be intensely difficult for us to grappled with, accept and wrap our mind around. I am here to assist you to navigate losses and grief you might be experiencing. The aim in grief therapy is not to get over it, but to remake your relationship with the lost loved one and sense of self, as you gently process the meaning of the loss. Giving yourself time to grieve, being gentle with yourself and feeling supported during a time of loss is fundamental. You are not alone. I am here to support you through this.
