I enjoy working with those who suffer from eating disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I work with adolescents ages 12 and older and adults. The theoretical orientations that I use are Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I use a comprehensive approach to therapy and determine which method is best suited for each client.

I have been a licensed therapist since 1987 when I was a professor of Counseling Psychology at the University of Missouri. I've continued to help my clients learn to love and accept themselves, whether in individual or couples therapy, executives and their teams, or women in prison. I pay attention to Body, Mind, and Spirit as we work, as I believe we must recognize the interaction of all three. Clients comment that despite feeling safe with me, they feel challenged to face themselves.  

Everyone has a purpose but unfortunately the wounds of our souls can serve as a direct blockage from us discovering it. I am your soul care practitioner who is equipped to help get you to a place of brokenness to a place of wholeness.
