Authentic Counseling Services- Richard Turnham
Counselor/Therapist, LPC-S, LADC-S
You may understand your patterns and still find yourself repeating them. Perhaps anxiety keeps you on edge, you and your partner struggle to feel heard, or addiction is affecting someone you love. I help individuals, couples, and families understand what keeps them stuck and work toward meaningful change.
I am Richard Turnham, LPC-S, LADC-S, with 17 years of counseling experience. My approach begins with getting to know you—your experiences, motivations, fears, strengths, and ways of coping. Together, we explore the roots of painful patterns and build practical ways to respond differently.
I enjoy working with couples on communication, recurring conflict, trust, and emotional connection. My addiction experience includes helping people in recovery and supporting spouses, parents, and other family members affected by a loved one's substance use. I also work with anxiety, grief, trauma, depression, boundaries, and self-worth.
My style is warm, honest, and collaborative. I want you to feel understood and supported while also having room to examine difficult truths and make changes. I am a Christian and welcome people of all faiths and no faith; spiritual perspectives are included according to your preferences.
Please contact me with your available days and times, insurance or private-pay preference, and whether you prefer video or in-person sessions.

Devon Davasher
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW, CCM, CFSW, Master ART Practitioner
I became a therapist because I needed one. I lost my mom when I was 18, and in the years that followed I struggled with anxiety and depression and reached for whatever would take the edge off. When I finally sat down with a therapist, it changed my life. Not because it fixed everything right away, but because for the first time I had a space to say the things I had never said out loud. As a gay man, I know what it is like to carry parts of yourself quietly for longer than you should have had to. That lived experience shapes how I show up in the room. Affirming care is not something I do. It is something I live.
