If you’re looking for a therapist who is both compassionate and direct, you’re in the right place. I support clients who look “fine” on the outside but feel emotionally exhausted, anxious, disconnected, or like they’re constantly carrying too much. In our work together, you can expect a steady space that helps you feel understood, build coping skills that actually work, and create lasting change—not just temporary relief. If you’re ready to feel more grounded and confident in yourself, reach out and we’ll take the next step together.

Life as a woman in your 20s and 30s can feel EXHAUSTING, like no matter how hard you try, you're spinning your wheels and can't seem to catch a break. You're tired, anxious, overwhelmed, and questioning how you even got here. Maybe a big change recently flipped your world upside down, like a breakup, move, job shift, or family situation that brought everything to the surface. Or maybe it's been building for a while. You’re feeling stuck, anxious, depressed, unfulfilled, and noticing the same patterns repeating themselves again and again. You’re ready for something different. You're ready to dig deeper, understand yourself on a new level, and start creating patterns that actually move you forward. We’re here to help you do just that. Visit our website or reach out to book a free consultation with one of our therapists! We’d love to support you.

Jamie Clahane | Psychotherapy & Pastoral Care (virtual)

Registered Psychotherapist, MTS, RP
Thanks for taking the time to learn a little more about me. I am a registered psychotherapist providing pastoral psychotherapy for people across Ontario. This means I specialize in integrating clinical counselling and spiritual care. Why is this important? It is important because healing involves the whole person. Yes, healing involves emotional & cognitive processing and integration around unresolved wounds in one's life, but the deepest healing involves more. When we face personal struggles or crises it is an invitation to find deeper meaning and hope in our lives. It is here that I provide Christian counselling to help build a foundation of wellness and hope. In terms of psychotherapy, I focus on healing deeper issues that contribute to mental health symptoms. People may be struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or more complex presentations, such as obsessive compulsions, addiction patterns, complicated grief, emotional dysregulation, and more. Instead of simply learning how to manage symptoms, my approach is to gently uncover and work to heal deeper root issues underneath these symptoms that often include shame and self-rejection, unresolved grief, emotional injuries or trauma, for example. As we recover we can restore a healthy sense of self, a deepened faith, and a restored hope for one's life.
