Heal(ing) Trauma Therapy

Counsellor/Therapist, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), HBA, MPsy
Personally, I understand what it is like to grow up in a difficult family which resulted in much trauma. As a young adult, I made a series of problematic choices which included abusive relationships, alcohol and drug abuse, and general neglect of myself. I realized that my trauma was not my fault but healing from it, so that I no longer suffered and passed that suffering onto others, was my responsibility. My wellness journey has been long and hard fought, and continues today and will forever more. The work is necessary, as all healing is possible. My hope is to share both my personal and professional knowledge and experiences with others to help guide them on their own journeys towards their own healing.

Michael Greene

Registered Psychotherapist, MA Counselling Psychology, Registered Psychologist College of Psychotherapists of Ontario
Being a therapist for 35 years has been a great privilege. It enables me to see the great depth, wisdom and inherent goodness of people. My connection with the people I work with and the help that I have given them has given my life meaning. I began this work because therapy dramatically changed my life. I learned that we are all capable of making our lives better when we take a fearless look inside ourselves.

Therapist, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Do you feel exhausted, anxious, or depressed from constantly adapting to a world that wasn’t built with your needs in mind? Living with chronic illness, ADHD, or autism can be overwhelming, leaving you burned out, stuck in survival mode, or longing for a safe space where you don’t have to mask or explain yourself. You may carry shame from being misunderstood, loneliness from not feeling seen, or grief over the limits placed on you. These feelings are real, and you don’t have to carry them alone. As a neurodivergent therapist with an invisible chronic illness, I understand how heavy this can feel, and I’m here to help. I work psychodynamically, with curiosity and care, exploring how past experiences and relationships influence how you feel today. I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can be fully yourself-messy, curious, openly stimming, or simply tired. This fosters a safe environment to process your pain, honour your story, and open new possibilities for living with greater ease. Together, we’ll work towards your goals and reconnect with your values and authentic self along the way-always at a pace that feels right to you. I offer free consultations, so reach out today, and let’s see if we’re the right fit. I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
