Hey there, I'm Ben Mosebach and I'm not your typical therapist. I'm not here to offer you clichés or empty promises. What I offer is authenticity and the potential to profoundly impact your life. My approach to therapy is straightforward and down-to-earth. Theoretically I am rooted in the humanistic perspectives encompassing aspects of existentialism, gestalt and person centered therapy. But I'm not interested in wasting your time with superficial chatter or jargon-filled language. I'm here to roll up my sleeves and get to work with you, tackling whatever challenges you're facing head-on.

I have been helping my clients reach their goals since 1983 as a Clinician and Clinical Supervisor, Adjunct Psychology Professor, County Director of Anger Management. I am a Martial Arts Grand Master (8th Dan Black Belt), and have been a full time martial arts instructor for 46 years

FREE INTRO Session - to see if we're a good fit. My main focus is working with ACAs - adults who were raised in an alcoholic / narcissistic family. The long-term goal is to uncover your True Self, develop a Loving Parent voice, heal the Wounded Child, & encourage the Healthy Child to shine. Together we identify the harsh beliefs you absorbed from your family, school & religion, and work on transforming them into positive do-able ‘rules’ to live by. EXP: “I know what I know”, “I have a right to my needs”, “”There’s no such thing as perfect”….. I also provide a safe place for you to experience painful or joyful emotions you weren't allowed to feel growing up. ACA Recovery work is about facing the reality of early damage, and working to overcome the after-effects. “Trying to flourish in an atmosphere of criticism is like trying to get sober in a bar.”

Hillsboro is home to Intel's largest site and the anchor of Oregon's Silicon Forest technology corridor, hosting a dense concentration of semiconductor, electronics, and technology companies that makes it one of the most significant tech manufacturing hubs in the United States. The city has grown substantially as a result of tech sector employment and has a notably diverse population including significant Latino and Asian communities alongside the technical workforce, many of whom have relocated for Intel or other tech employment. Washington County Mental Health provides public behavioral health services, and a growing private therapy sector serves the professional community. Common therapy concerns include tech industry stress and burnout, immigration and acculturation for the city's large immigrant workforce, economic anxiety amid semiconductor industry cycles, and the relocation and community-building challenges of a workforce that has often moved significant distances for career opportunities.
