Dr. Rosy Saenz-Sierzega

Psychologist, PhD, MA, NBCC
Life is hard, and sometimes life gets messy. Relationships get complicated, emotions get overwhelming, and even when you know something needs to change, you may not know where to start. That's where therapy can help. My goal is not simply to give you a place to vent (although there is certainly a time and place for that!). I want to help you understand why you're feeling the way you do, identify the patterns that are keeping you stuck, and figure out what you can actually do differently. Therapy should give you insight, but it should also give you tools you can use in real life- to make life easier. I work with individuals and couples experiencing a wide range of emotional concerns, including anxiety, depression, anger, grief, fear, jealousy, negativity, and feeling overwhelmed or confused. I also have extensive experience working with compulsive and addictive behaviors, including sex and love addiction, codependency, and impulsive behaviors. Relationships are another major area of my practice. I help people work through conflict, communication problems, infidelity, broken trust, intimacy concerns, breakups, and relationship recovery. I also offer premarital and pre-divorce counseling for couples who want to make thoughtful decisions about their future rather than simply react to what's happening in the moment. I also work with families who have reached an impasse—situations where communication has broken down, hurt and resentment have accumulated, or family members simply cannot seem to agree on how to move forward. Sometimes everyone involved has a different version of what happened, and everyone feels justified in their position. My role is not to decide who is right or wrong, but to help family members communicate more effectively, understand one another's perspectives, establish healthier boundaries, and determine whether there is a path forward. When families have been stuck for a long time, even finding a way to have a productive conversation can be meaningful progress. I work with social and personal issues as well, including assertiveness, self-esteem, external validation, peer pressure, bullying, communication, forgiveness, and other challenges that can make it difficult to feel confident and comfortable in your own life. My approach is primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy. In practical terms, that means we'll look at the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while focusing on what can be changed moving forward. I don't believe you need to spend years analyzing every detail of your past in order to make meaningful progress. Understanding where your patterns came from can be helpful, but learning how to change them is what ultimately creates a different future. Therapy isn't about being perfect, and it's definitely not about pretending that problems don't exist. We all make mistakes, get stuck in unhealthy patterns, and occasionally make choices we wish we could take back. The important part is what you do next. My job is to help you move from feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain toward greater clarity, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of control over your life. You don't have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. That's part of what we're here to figure out together.

Donna M Torbico - HEAL & GROW for ACoAs

Counselor/Therapist, Recovery Therapist in Private Practice 40 years
FREE INTRO Session - to see if we're a good fit. My main focus is working with ACAs - adults who were raised in an alcoholic / narcissistic family. The long-term goal is to uncover your True Self, develop a Loving Parent voice, heal the Wounded Child, & encourage the Healthy Child to shine. Together we identify the harsh beliefs you absorbed from your family, school & religion, and work on transforming them into positive do-able ‘rules’ to live by. EXP: “I know what I know”, “I have a right to my needs”, “”There’s no such thing as perfect”….. I also provide a safe place for you to experience painful or joyful emotions you weren't allowed to feel growing up. ACA Recovery work is about facing the reality of early damage, and working to overcome the after-effects. “Trying to flourish in an atmosphere of criticism is like trying to get sober in a bar.”

Loveland, Colorado therapist: David Houston Murphy, psychologist
Reality Therapy

David Houston Murphy

Psychologist, PhD, LP, PSYPACT
As an autistic psychologist in Colorado, I personally understand many of the personal challenges my neurodivergent (ASD/autism, ADHD, learning abilities) clients are facing. I excel by helping you get clarity about your current challenges through psychological testing and what next steps and recommendations may be helpful after testing is completed. Through therapy, I often help clients come to terms with a new diagnosis, unmask, understand differences between neurotypical and neurodivergent approaches, and come to accept your identity as a neurodivergent person.
