Ellyn Kravette
Counselor/Therapist, MSW, LSW, CADC, CEAP
What is PsychoSpiritual Counseling? for many years I have worked with people who are religiously affiliated and many and many who do not consider themselves spiritual at all but are interested in becoming more in harmony with themselves, their environment, and the ultimate energy of life. You see I believe SPIRITUALITY is about being connected…about caring about one another…about not abusing or being abused….It is about a need to be honest with oneself and utilizing our daily occurrences in positive way, no matter what our situation might happen to be. I believe that Spirituality is not a religion. It is how you live your life. That said, I have been a student of many traditions and am a graduate of New Seminary (ordained 1991) and spent two years in a Pastoral Counseling Program as well as having a masters degree in social work. My spiritual life has been influenced by Yogananda, ACIM, New Thought, Roman Catholicism , Gnosticism, Toth, Greg Braden, Rev. D, Don Miguel Ruiz and many more. I believe that all paths are "the Path". Every person I have ever been in contact with has taught me something about who I am and who I chose to be. I believe in a Christ Consciousness. Most important, I am comfortable with my Spirituality and would be delighted to help you think about and to be comfortable with yours.

Alisia Ives at Status Therapy
Counselor/Therapist, MS, LPC
Each client I meet with, I ask if they have a religion or if they are spiritual. And what you think happens when someone passes away. Intuition is part of spirituality as well. Though many people notice intuitive pulls even if they have not associated it with spirituality. This is about talking, feeling, I will ask you about dreams, experiences, what spirituality means to you. I have a particular interest and additional education in this area. Including having earned a Reiki II designation. I am interested in many different religions and how they are similar as well as differences. First and foremost is what it is you are looking for. We will talk about this. Faith assists people through difficult times and enriches good times.
