What is PsychoSpiritual Counseling? for many years I have worked with people who are religiously affiliated and many and many who do not consider themselves spiritual at all but are interested in becoming more in harmony with themselves, their environment, and the ultimate energy of life. You see I believe SPIRITUALITY is about being connected…about caring about one another…about not abusing or being abused….It is about a need to be honest with oneself and utilizing our daily occurrences in positive way, no matter what our situation might happen to be. I believe that Spirituality is not a religion. It is how you live your life. That said, I have been a student of many traditions and am a graduate of New Seminary (ordained 1991) and spent two years in a Pastoral Counseling Program as well as having a masters degree in social work. My spiritual life has been influenced by Yogananda, ACIM, New Thought, Roman Catholicism , Gnosticism, Toth, Greg Braden, Rev. D, Don Miguel Ruiz and many more. I believe that all paths are "the Path". Every person I have ever been in contact with has taught me something about who I am and who I chose to be. I believe in a Christ Consciousness. Most important, I am comfortable with my Spirituality and would be delighted to help you think about and to be comfortable with yours.

While psychology is a great tool, it can only help us understand ourselves better and the wounds we experience. God is the ultimate healer. By inviting Him into the healing process we can achieve the best outcomes. In our practice, we regularly incorporate Catholic spirituality into therapy. We find this most helpful for our clients.

For many, spirituality is a source of strength—or sometimes, wounding. I welcome conversations about faith, ancestral connection, ritual, or existential questions. Whether you are deconstructing, deepening, or seeking meaning after trauma, I hold space that respects your beliefs while staying grounded in body-based and culturally centered care.

Clients learn that true spirituality is not just feeling positive or an otherworldly identification, but a deep embodiment of being fully present, here and now - in one's body first. Learning somatic body awareness as a gateway to underlying and disowned parts of oneself. Bringing compassionate self acceptance to core wounds and traumas - lost and disowned parts of the psyche - for true integration. This process heals by opening the heart- which is the key channel to one's core, Divine Self. Email for free consultation call
