Neil Coburn Relationship Therapy and Counselling

Registered Psychotherapist, BA (Hons), MA (Tavi Rels), MBACP (Accred)
I have a particular focus on the relationships that matter most to you, whether it's you as a couple, or as an individual looking for a different perspective on your relationships, whether it's a partner, family members or colleagues. My training is to PG Dip and then MA level at one of the world's leading centres for couple and individual therapy training. I am one of few men in the field. People say I have a warm, personable approach to my work, though I am not afraid to point out difficult truths where necessary, always with an aim to encourage change and growth.

Saffron Marriner

Counsellor/Therapist, MBACP (Accred)
My name is Saffron. I am an accredited member of the BACP and have been practicing as a counsellor and psychotherapist for twenty years both within an agency setting as well as within my private practice, where I offer face to face, online, telephone and walk and talk appointments. I have worked with clients across the age range of 16 up to and past the retirement age. The service that I offer welcomes people from all backgrounds in a way which is non discriminatory and supportive. Counselling offers an opportunity to process personal challenges and difficulties within an environment that is supportive and confidential. At times this might include discussing painful and uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, emotions. You are not alone with this as many people experience these at different points of their lives. When this is happening it can be hard to remain in a positive and focused frame of mind. Sometimes people feel overwhelmed and feel unable to continue to cope in the way that they usually could with their life on a day to day basis. One of the ways that counselling can help is by providing a space to process personal, behavioural and relationship issues in a safe and confidential way with a qualified professional. My role is to support you with this process in a way that is non judgmental, free from criticism or giving advice as to what I believe is the right thing for you to do. By working together in this way I am there alongside you as you find your own answers in a way that is right for you as we are all individual and unique and what is right for one person may not feel right for someone else. Of course you don't have to tell me everything about yourself and your life if you are not comfortable with this however you may find it beneficial to be as open and honest as you are able to be.

London, England therapist: Kevin Martin, counselor/therapist
TA

Kevin Martin

Counsellor/Therapist, Psychotherapist Psychodynamic Analysis & Transactional Analysis, BACP, ITTA, EA
Having been on my own journey of crisis, self-awareness, and awakening, I know how much courage and bravery it takes to reach out, to ask for help, and to accept that we cannot cope on our own. This means breaking deep-seated loyalty bonds and allowing others to see us, relate to us, and connect with parts we don't want others to see. I work at a practical level, using clear tools and strategies based on an agreed contract and timeframe, where we explore deep-held narratives and beliefs and compulsive patterns of behaviour. Within the relational dynamic, I offer a new space/ environment of empathy, understanding, and freedom of expression, where you can start to lower defences and express your needs and desires without fear of punishment or rejection. I am passionate about helping people who have reached a plateau or are facing a crisis. A place where they are ready to embrace a rite of passage, a journey into authenticity and freedom, where I can support them to increase their awareness and create a more vibrant, active and rewarding life. My mission is to help clients gain clarity and a deeper understanding of their childhood dynamics and relationship patterns as they learn to embrace their authentic selves by facing their fears and anxieties with compassion and trust.

London, England therapist: Louise Perry, registered psychotherapist
TA

Louise Perry

Registered Psychotherapist, IFS UKCP HCCP
I've spent over thirty years helping people make sense of complexity. Today I work as an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist and Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner, helping people make the invisible visible. Whether someone comes because they're anxious, overwhelmed, caught in painful relationship patterns or simply feels stuck, I'm interested in helping them understand themselves more clearly by noticing the patterns they couldn't previously see. Before retraining as a psychotherapist, I spent many years in design and technology. That background continues to shape how I work. I'm naturally curious about patterns, systems and the relationships between different parts of a person's life. Sometimes we simply talk. Sometimes images, objects or simple creative materials help make sense of experiences that words alone can't fully describe. There is never any expectation to be artistic. I work in an active, collaborative way. I won't rush you towards solutions, but neither will I sit back and simply listen. Together we'll become curious about what's happening beneath the surface so that, once those patterns become visible, different choices become possible.
