We call ourselves things we would never call anyone else “disgusting, lazy, unworthy, embarrassing, ugly, stupid. The list goes on and on. Try talking to yourself how you would talk to a best friend, small child, or a lovable pet. You can still challenge yourself but say it in a gentle way. “I know you are really tired but you are gonna feel better if you get up and make some breakfast.
