Courtney Loyola

Counselor/Therapist, LPC
Becoming — Not Broken. You've found yourself researching 'Am I a narcissist?' in the middle of the night, you have constant questions as to 'How did I get here?' and 'Why do these things keep happening to me?' You've lost someone very close to you and now you are spinning out and can't seem to find your feet. You keep repeating patterns that bring the same people into your life and leave you in pieces after they've left. You're ready to change, you just don't know how or where to start. I believe healing is not about fixing what’s wrong with you, but uncovering the strength and resilience that have always been there. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by complex trauma, narcissistic abuse, or deep grief. Together, we create a safe, grounded space where painful experiences can be processed and integrated — not avoided. Our work is centered on helping you reconnect with your voice, your clarity, and your capacity for secure relationships.

Sometimes things happen in life that we cannot stand up and keep walking like we have in the past. I help my clients take a look at what it is that has them feeling stuck and unhappy, where that might be coming from and work on the root of the problem.

Madison Short Conteh - Joy in the Morning Counseling

Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, RPT
I've been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist for nearly a decade now, and I love this work because it is so full of hope. Usually, when people come to see me, they're not feeling very hopeful, because the problem feels too big to handle. It's sucking the joy out of their relationships, or their life, and they're overwhelmed. Life has let them down, they've been disappointed, and now they're stuck in a spiral of the worst feelings. Some part of them though, knows there is hope out there, that things can be better and they can have relief. That's where therapy, and my role in your story, comes in. I get to hold the hope for you, because I know this path. I've been walking it with people just like you for years. I know that parts of this path are hard, or scary, or beautiful, or relaxing, and I know that all of it is heading towards you experiencing freedom. We walk it together so that you don't have to hold your own burdens, I have special skills that help us along the path like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). This is a way we use the brain's natural ability to process information, and alleviate feeling stuck in a past experience or experiences. It's especially useful for trauma. I use Person Centered Talk Therapy. We create the space to sit together with what's on your mind or your heart, to give it what it needs, and move through it. I use Child Centered Play Therapy so that kids can have the same benefits of therapy as adults, but in a child-attuned way. Kids aren't ready to talk through things, they express them through behaviors. Play therapy gives kids the opportunity to play through those behaviors and find healing. With parents I offer Child Parent Relationship Therapy training, where I give you the same tools I use as a therapist, but to use within your own home. In all of this, I often integrate things like somatic work, parts work, and sandtray work.

Benjamin Conner Trauma To Peace Therapy

Licensed Professional Counselor, M.S. Clinical Mental Health Counseling, LPC, EMDR, Veteran
I use a combination of evidence based practices proven over time to lead individuals from trauma to peace. I offer you a pathway from pain and fatigue to peace and empowerment. This comes from one who has endured it. I understand trying to make it to the next minute or the next day and it seeming impossible. I was tired too. I have a different life now. I don't believe in people needing counseling weekly for years on end. Lets work together for relief. You will overcome the obstacles in your way and build skills that help you take on whatever comes next. I understand treating these issues with EMDR, CBT, ACT and more, guiding healing for individuals and families. Working, parenting, and relationships are difficult on their own, and with trauma, anxiety, or depression in the background it can seem impossible. Treating those injuries from the past and present can change your life, strengthen your identity, and heal your relationships. Reach out to me, lets build some trust and get some work done that makes your life and your mind feel different. Austin, Texas therapist: Lindsey Lucius, licensed clinical social worker
EMDR

Lindsey Lucius

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW-S
I'm so glad you're here! I specialize in working with adults navigating chronic health conditions, trauma, people-pleasing, and emotional exhaustion. I help people connect with their inner world so they can grow kinder to themselves and live more authentically. People living with chronic health conditions or a disability can carry experiences of medical trauma, emotional invalidation, burnout, anxiety, or feeling deeply misunderstood by others. As a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) living with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), I understand firsthand the complexity of living in a body that can feel misunderstood. My approach is warm, relational and trauma-informed, integrating IFS and EMDR to help you develop a more compassionate relationship with your inner world, and a more authentic relationship to your external world.

Houston, Texas therapist: Aubrey Richardson, licensed professional counselor
EMDR

Aubrey Richardson

Licensed Professional Counselor, MS, LPC
I work with high achieving women, caregivers, and helping professionals who are used to being the one who holds everything together. They anticipate needs, take responsibility for other people’s emotions, and say yes when they mean no. They push through when they are depleted and keep going long after their capacity is gone. For a long time, this worked. It earned success, stability, and connection. Until it didn’t. Most clients come to me when burnout has turned into resentment. When relationships feel one sided. When the emotional load becomes impossible to ignore. This is not an individual failure. These patterns are often shaped by early roles, expectations, and environments that rewarded overfunctioning and self sacrifice. In our work together, we focus on identifying these patterns, understanding what is actually yours to carry, and building the capacity to do less without collapsing into guilt or anxiety. This is not about becoming a different person. It is about creating a life that feels sustainable, reciprocal, and aligned. If you are waiting until things calm down or get worse before reaching out, that waiting is part of the pattern. You do not have to keep doing this.

I believe I have 2 superpowers. One is listening and the other is being curious. These create a powerful amalgam for change when used with proven therapeutic tools. Change can be scary, but sometimes we take a step into the unknown in spite of our fear. I believe this is being brave. That is the step that can move you toward the change and understanding you want.
