Recovery from sexual abuse can be complex and long term, with many ups and downs in the therapeutic journey. My approach is to be with you as you process, to acknowledge what was, what happened, how it fits within your body and your mind, how you make sense of it and how do you make peace with how it's changed you. There are many and varied emotions and responses that come with sexual abuse. This includes issues such as erectile issues, anorgasm, vaginismus, performance issues, premature ejaculation, delayed ejaculation, inability to orgasm, libido issues, intimacy and relationship issues, lack of confidence as well as general sexual education. Psychoeducation includes increasing knowledge of physical anatomy, sexual pleasure, biology, consent, and managing romantic and sexual relationships.
