Gambling
Gary D. Alexander
Marriage and Family Therapist, MS, MFT, NCC
Problem gambling often develops gradually, becoming a way of coping with stress, emotional pain, or a desire to escape difficult feelings. Rather than focusing solely only on stopping the behavior itself, our work explores the emotional and relational patterns that may be fueling the urge to gamble. As these patterns become more understood and new ways of responding take shape, many people begin to regain a sense of control, stability, and balance in their lives.
