I support adults who feel caught in the push and pull of disordered eating, body image distress, and the emotional patterns that sit beneath these struggles. What I know from this work is that these experiences are never about willpower or discipline—they’re about coping, safety, and survival. They often surface during stress, transitions, loneliness, or when life feels heavier than you can hold on your own.
My aim is to help you understand what you’re carrying, reconnect with the parts of yourself you’ve had to quiet, and develop compassion for the parts working tirelessly to protect you. In our work together, we’ll look closely at the thoughts, behaviours, and emotions that feel overwhelming or persistent—not with criticism, but with curiosity.
Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. I offer a space where you can explore what feels out of control, loosen the grip of self-criticism, and challenge the comparisons that leave you feeling behind.
I believe meaningful change begins when you feel safe enough to be seen. I’m here to help you move toward that place, at a pace that feels right for you.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
Approach Description: My work is grounded in a client-centred and integrative approach. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), along with other therapeutic approaches, to create a process that feels meaningful and effective for you. My aim is to offer a compassionate and collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your thoughts and emotions safely.
I work from a client-centred, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive lens, holding space for all aspects of your identity and lived experience.
