ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS* Do you ever feel "stuck" in your daily life or unsure of how to go forward in a way that makes you happy? Do you feel as if your past experiences are dragging you down, or as if you're looking out the window into a fog that won't lift? Is there a relationship with yourself or others that you'd like to strengthen? We can discuss the steps that have led you to this point, as well as the steps you would like to take in the future to improve your well-being. Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Psychoanalytic Therapy Based on Freud’s theories, it explores unconscious conflicts and past experiences. It seeks to bring hidden issues into awareness.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.

I graduated from the University of South Wales with a Master of Clinical Psychology and Yorkville University with a Master of Counselling. I want to offer you a safe space to navigate current and past issues. I've worked with people from all walks of life and of all ages in clinical, general, and athletic settings. While my work is informed by a variety of frameworks, including a trauma-focused approach to EMDR, ACT, CBT, and Narrative therapy, our collaboration would be tailored to your personal needs and preferences. Mood (anxiety, stress, depression), body image, loss, traumatic event processing, and life transitions are some of my areas of interest.
