Approach Description: I believe people can be their most ideal and authentic self when they feel supported and valued. As a therapist, I aim to create a space where this discovery is possible. I work with individuals, couples, families, children (9+), and youth and offer a free consultation to ensure we are a good fit for your therapeutic journey. My approach in therapy is largely collaborative, as I am mindful that you are the expert of your own life. I strive to create an environment where you are comfortable to explore areas in which you feel stuck, acknowledge the recurring themes and patterns that are creating difficulties, and to understand behaviours in order to create a preferred way of living and identify ways in which we can create meaningful change. In addition to working with individuals, I am a couple and family therapist. Growing up in a large mixed-race household, relationships have always been at the forefront of my passion as a therapist. Throughout my therapeutic journey I have been drawn to questions like: What do meaningful relationships look like? What brings people together? How do we balance connection to others and authenticity to self? Schedule a free consultation with me to see if we are a good fit.

How do we balance connection to others and authenticity to self? I work with clients experiencing a wide range of areas of focus, which can be found below. I use a multitude of therapeutic modalities including narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and dialogic therapies. My training in systemic and family-focused lenses helps me to understand how experiences may be influenced by relationships and broader contextual factors.
