Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy Based on decades of research, this method gives couples tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen intimacy.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
Approach Description: My approach to therapy is collaborative, structured, and individualized. I work with clients to better understand the underlying emotional, cognitive, and relational patterns that contribute to distress, while also providing practical, evidence-based strategies to support change. Drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches, I help clients develop greater emotional awareness, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and build healthier ways of coping and relating. Throughout the process, I emphasize clarity, self-compassion, and skill-building, creating a supportive yet purposeful space where clients can make meaningful and lasting progress.

I am a licensed therapist providing individual therapy to adults who are struggling with anxiety, chronic stress, low self-esteem, and relationship challenges. Many of the clients I work with are high-achieving, driven, and thoughtful individuals who feel a strong sense of responsibility in their personal and professional lives, yet experience persistent self-criticism, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty slowing down and feeling at ease. Therapy offers a space to better understand these patterns and develop healthier, more sustainable ways of relating to yourself and others.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, structured, and tailored to each client’s unique goals. I integrate evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches, to help clients gain insight into how their thoughts, emotions, and past experiences influence their current behaviors and relationships. Together, we work to identify unhelpful cycles—such as perfectionism, avoidance, people-pleasing, or emotional suppression—and replace them with more adaptive coping strategies and clearer emotional boundaries.
I place a strong emphasis on emotional awareness, self-compassion, and practical skill-building. Therapy is not only a place to reflect, but also a space to learn tools that can be applied in daily life—whether that means managing anxiety more effectively, improving communication, tolerating uncertainty, or developing a more balanced sense of self-worth. Sessions are thoughtful and goal-oriented, while still allowing room for deeper exploration and emotional processing.
Clients often describe my style as calm, direct, and supportive. I aim to create a therapeutic environment that feels both safe and purposeful—one where clients feel genuinely understood, appropriately challenged, and supported in making meaningful changes. I believe therapy works best when it is a collaborative process, and I encourage open dialogue, curiosity, and honesty throughout our work together.
I welcome clients who are motivated to engage in the therapeutic process and are seeking greater clarity, emotional resilience, and healthier relationships. Whether you are experiencing ongoing anxiety, navigating life transitions, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others, therapy can provide the support and structure needed to move forward with confidence and intention.
