At Laird Counselling Services, we are experienced mental health professionals dedicated to helping you work through life’s problems. Laird Counselling Services Practice Description
Laird Counselling Services works with individuals using a holistic, person-centred approach. We do not use a one-size-fits-all approach to counselling. Your needs are unique and therefore your sessions will be individualized to you. To support your counselling journey, we have training in evidenced-based treatments including CBT, CBT-I for Insomnia, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotional Freedom Techniques, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy. Our work is trauma-informed and based on a solid therapeutic alliance with you. We are guided by a strong compassion for others and a belief in your capacity for growth in the midst of struggle. We believe in the inherent dignity and worth of every individual and it is our goal to support others to find meaning, growth and clarity in turbulent times. We provide a confidential, non-judgemental, safe space to share the concerns most important to you. We offer in person and online sessions for your convenience. Evening sessions are available online.
