- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
Approach Description: You're one of a kind, and you deserve therapy that reflects that. That’s why I use an integrative approach to suit your needs and goals. I'm certified in EMDR therapy, which can help you heal from trauma and other painful experiences, and I also draw from a variety of techniques, such as person-centered therapy, EMDR, parts work, body-based (somatic) therapies, and mindfulness. I'm also trained in Intuitive Eating and have a body-positive, Health At Every Size (HAES) aligned framework. I work from a multicultural lens and practice cultural humility. I strive to create a respectful and collaborative space where you can feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore your inner world and find new ways of coping and healing.
