Approach Description:
I am a relationship and relational trauma therapist. I help those who seeking relationship support and those who have suffered from trauma in their relationships. I specialize in relationship support, trauma that happened or is ongoing in relationships, narcissistic abuse, and attachment styles. I use a holistic approach meaning I see you as a whole person rather than just what's going on in your mind. This means along with working with your thoughts and emotions, we would look at your movement, gestures, breathing, sensations and more. I work from a trauma-informed lens to create a safe and judgment-free place for you to share your struggles. I like having a flexibility where you can drive the sessions and but also making sure we are meeting your goals. Every person coming in to therapy is different and not one issue is the same, so I use integrative approach, meaning I draw from various research-based therapeutic approaches. I also believe in having human experiences included in therapy; your experiences are yours and sometimes no textbook or scientific research can help. Which is why when working with you, I see you as another human being, not as your problem. My therapy sessions involve building a strong relationship with you where you feel safe, comfortable, and at ease to talk.
