My stand on 'women's issues' has not really changed over the years. Originally these views were thought to be feminist. Very feminist. Now those exact same views are seen as more traditionalist! I have always believed in justice, respect and equality, for all human beings. For me, I am a human being first. Woman, second. Perhaps you are a human being first and a man second? I celebrate both! In my opinion each person is equal to every other and if we explore, understand and fill our needs - the same needs whatever our sex, colour or any other demographic - we will be happy. If we do not…. Fullstop. This belief is NVC or Non Violent (or Compassionate) Communication, organized by Dr Marshall Rosenberg in action. As women, our experience of the world is uniquely female. As men it is male. Man and woman stand at the two ends of this spectrum and in between are a thousand iterations of humanity waiting to be explored! I am wide open to hearing your story.

Emotional abuse, not feeling good enough, covert narcissistic abuse, love self-worth, questioning if what you experienced was actually abuse, trauma that you're not sure really "counts." Being a woman in this patriarchal world is challenging, and experiencing abuse that doesn't quite seem to fit into the examples we see in the media, or the definitions on the power and control wheel, is extra difficult because we question if there is actually anything wrong, or if we're just "making it up" or "being too sensitive."
I can hold space for you as you explore your experience to make sense of it and see clearly what's been going on.
