Heal(ing) Trauma Therapy
Counsellor/Therapist, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), HBA, MPsy
Personally, I understand what it is like to grow up in a difficult family which resulted in much trauma. As a young adult, I made a series of problematic choices which included abusive relationships, alcohol and drug abuse, and general neglect of myself. I realized that my trauma was not my fault but healing from it, so that I no longer suffered and passed that suffering onto others, was my responsibility. My wellness journey has been long and hard fought, and continues today and will forever more. The work is necessary, as all healing is possible. My hope is to share both my personal and professional knowledge and experiences with others to help guide them on their own journeys towards their own healing.

Chelsey Yaremchuk - Low Cost Therapy (ADHD, ASD, Trauma, Anxiety)
Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
SEPT. 2025 - Accepting New Clients! Low-cost therapy is available.
Life can feel heavy sometimes. If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in old patterns, or navigating a major life change, Chelsey is here to help you untangle the mess and find your way forward. Whether you are navigating school or work troubles, self-esteem issues, or simply managing daily life, having the right support and direction can be beneficial.
Chelsey believes that therapy should be a place where individuals feel safe, comfortable, and free from judgment. Within this space, we can explore what’s holding you back, develop tools that work for you, and create a lasting change.
Her experiences of working within school boards as an educational assistant have allowed her to understand multiple exceptionalities and disabilities in many different aspects. Working with ages 7 and up, she brings years of experience to help support clients with autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities and co-occurring mental health concerns. Bringing strength-based, inclusive approaches to every session. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all, and Chelsey will collaborate with you to ensure the best fit.
Together, we can work closely in a safe and supportive space, drawing from approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based talk therapies. These methods help us explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviours with curiosity and compassion, empowering you to build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful change at your own pace.
Outside of the office, Chelsey finds joy in the little things that bring comfort, connection, and curiosity. She has a deep love for true crime documentaries and podcasts, often intrigued by the psychology behind human behaviour. A lifelong Harry Potter fan, Chelsey enjoys revisiting the magic of the wizarding world, whether through books or films.
In her downtime, you'll often find her curled up with a good book, challenging herself with a puzzle, or spending quality time with her close-knit circle of friends and her two beloved dogs. She also has a soft spot for horror movies — the scarier, the better — and appreciates the way they can offer both thrill and escape.
These interests not only bring Chelsey joy but also reflect her natural curiosity, creativity, and appreciation for stories, which she brings into her therapeutic work with empathy and authenticity.
