I started classical guitar when I was 10 and mountaineering at 13. I quit high school after 11th grade, and worked as a NASA astronomer before I finished college. I earned a physics PhD—almost being expelled for insubordination—and started writing business software as a consultant for IT departments at middle-sized businesses.
