Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT, Certified in Holistic Integrative Health
I'm a Mexican/Honduran mother of two energetic, insightful boys. My personal healing journey has deeply influenced my approach to therapy, guiding me to create a nurturing and inclusive safe space for all of my clients. Decolonizing mental health is at the core of my practice. I'm passionate about integrating traditional/indigenous forms of healing into my space. Together we will navigate the landscapes of your mind and heart, fostering a sense of empowerment and wholeness as you embrace your authentic self.
My goal in my work is to empower you to break away from the chronic emotions, thought patterns, behaviors and outcomes that do not serve you. When setting our treatment goals, we’ll discuss what you’d like to gain, what you’d like to keep, & what you’d choose to no longer experience. With that information, we’ll work towards creating your version of happiness.
As a kink-identified Psychologist and Certified Sex Therapist, I work with kinky & non-monogamous people of all sexual orientations to address sexual performance anxieties, desire discrepancies, porn and/or substance use, and communication difficulties. I also help straight-identified men understand and appreciate their attraction to trans women. My inclusive practice enthusiastically welcomes those of any sexual orientation, gender identity, kink, relationship dynamic, and behaviors between consenting adults.
I work with adults and couples of all genders on all journeys with the goal of helping clients to foster self-love, promote self-discovery, and strengthen their relationships. I specialize in Non-Monogamous, Kink, LGBTQ+, and sex worker communities.

After a decade in private practice, Dr. Rhodes' new practice was born after her transformational spiritual journey (which involved yoga working with goddesses of the Venus lineage, and learning about the spirit world studied by medical professionals in the UK).
While Dr. Rhodes is trained in "evidence based" practices related to the field of relationship science, she uses her intuition to help you find your own path.
Why did no one warn you about how hard the transition to parenthood was going to be? You often feel that you’re not doing a “good enough” job and wonder why other parents seem to have it all figured out. You may not have had the pregnancy, birth, or postpartum experience that you wanted. You love your baby more than anything but you don’t always love being a parent.
I’ve been there. Therapy is a resource that helped me feel less alone as I navigated the immense changes that came with becoming a parent. I’m a queer, neurodivergent mother of twins and my lived experience with perinatal loss, birth trauma, NICU parenting, being postpartum in 2020, and perinatal mental health disorders drew me to this work.
We all have moments in our lives when we need a little support. The most ambitious of us can get burnt out and even the most loving relationships can encounter bumpy roads. If you are here, you may be in that moment now -- feeling stuck or overwhelmed in some way. Perhaps you’re facing a difficult challenge or transition and need immediate support, or there is something you have carried for a long time that you’re ready to face. I offer the space to slow down, take a breath and explore what’s going on. We are all different, so my approach is collaborative and guided by how you experience the world.
