Liam West

Registered Psychotherapist, MA, Adv Dip MBACP
I’ve been in practise since 2016 and feel very blessed having had the opportunity to help so many people on their healing journey. My first focus is always in creating a safe space; one of understanding, compassion and openness. Anyone attending therapy needs to feel safe, secure, and seen and understood by their therapist. Though there’s a lot more that I do in my work with people than above, it’s those foundations - the relationship between therapist and clients - that everything else we do is built from. You will get 100% from me, as well as a dedication to continual learning and exploring, refining already known approaches, as well as adding in new tools and techniques. I know therapy can be a nervous thing to first try, but I’m sure in saying that I will put anyone at ease very quickly, and that anyway that sticks with therapy - and feels safe and heard by myself - will experience change that is hard to almost hard to believe until it starts to happen. I look forward to meeting you

Therapy with Ben

Counsellor/Therapist, MBACP
Hello, I’m Ben. I believe counselling works best when you feel genuinely heard, accepted and able to be yourself. I offer an approachable, supportive relationship in which we can explore whatever is happening in your life without judgement or pressure. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, neurodivergence or changes that have left you feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. You do not need to arrive with everything clearly understood or know exactly what you want to say. My approach is integrative, drawing particularly on person-centred and psychodynamic therapy. This allows us to consider both what you are experiencing now and the earlier relationships or patterns that may continue to affect you. I have particular knowledge and experience of ADHD and neurodiversity, but I work with each person as an individual rather than reducing anyone to a diagnosis or label. Together, we can develop a greater understanding of your experiences and what you may need moving forward.

Lisa Sanfilippo

Registered Psychotherapist, MA, MSc, UKCP, MBACP, SEP in progress
I believe therapy is a great gift that you give to your body, mind and soul- and that gift can improve all the relationships in your personal, work and family relationships. In essence, we want to move towards more ease and enjoyment. We can get curious about what you learnt growing up and in your life to date that created your world-view, your assumptions and even your body's responses to the situations you face. We will also open up new options for your responses so that you can be more authentically yourself within your world. This doesn't just involve thinking differently but being able to use the felt-sense in your body and nervous system. Often, I experience people coming to therapy with knowledge and self awareness but that thing doesn't seem to shift the problem- because it's deep in the body response system. We can work together with all of it, not just the logical mind but what's beneath that may be quietly running the show! I work with an integrative palette of approaches and tools, and share them with you in our conversations. We will work with thoughts and feelings as well as the responses of your body. When we start to shift what is available to our felt-sense, our perceptions and actions can shift dramatically. This is one of the things I love about the recent post-graduate training I've undertaken in Somatic Experiencing. I'm at the Advanced level of training in this method and it informs my approach to trauma, to neurodiversity and to relationships. I've also undertaken significant studies in ADHD and autism to help work with neurodivergence. I work with empathy, curiosity, compassion and respect for your intelligence and goals for yourself.

James Darby

Registered Psychotherapist, Postgraduate Diploma Core Process Psychotherapy, DCHyp, ABSCH, MBA
Consulting from a private practice in Fulham and Chelsea in London, I employ a combination of mindfulness-based interventions and psychotherapy as a gateway to change, encouraging clients how to come into relationship with their own thoughts, feelings and habitual behaviours rather than wrestle with them. This creates the conditions for emotional wisdom, growth and wellbeing.
