I am an optimistic and accepting therapist, enthusiastic about working with clients in collaborative ways, seeking to uncover and understand, and finding new ways of changing your life and living with fulfilling and rewarding relationships, families and friends. Over the years I have come to appreciate the therapeutic relationship as deeply healing, a safe space for clients to reflect and explore.

I am a registered Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) Practitioner Psychologist, and am on the British Psychological Society Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS). I have been in Private Practice in Central London for nine years. Before spending ten years in full-time study and training in London universities and NHS Trusts to qualify as a psychologist, I spent a decade travelling, mainly around Asia, studying Eastern psychology and philosophy. Thus, I have a rich lens of psychological perspectives through which I understand and work with the mind. Psychoanalytic thinking underpins my approach to therapy, which is always tailored to suit the unique needs of each person. The therapeutic work then adapts as those needs change over time. You will find my approach to be naturally compassionate, and non-judgemental.

Doncaster is a South Yorkshire city with a post-industrial heritage rooted in coal mining and engineering, and whose economy has worked to diversify into logistics, retail, and advanced manufacturing, though significant deprivation persists in many communities as the legacy of industrial decline. Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) provides mental health services, and the city's proximity to Sheffield gives residents access to a broader range of private therapy services. The city is perhaps best known nationally for its famous racecourse and the world's oldest classic horse race, but for most residents, Doncaster's experience is defined by the economic and social challenges of a post-mining community still working through generational change.
