Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a complex mental health disorder that is characterized by intense and unstable emotions, impulsive behavior, and unstable relationships. The most effective treatment for BPD is a form of psychotherapy called dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). DBT is a form of cognitive-behavioral therapy that focuses on helping individuals learn new coping skills to manage their emotions and behaviors. Other forms of therapy that have been found to be effective in treating BPD include cognitive therapy, mentalization-based therapy, and schema-focused therapy.
