THE WHOLE STORY APPROACH I offer a relational, high-trust therapeutic space where every part of your journey, from your cultural heritage and faith to your professional life, is seen, respected, and valued. As a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist and former Head of University Counselling & Wellbeing, I bring over a decade of senior clinical leadership and international experience to our work together. My practice is deeply rooted in understanding the delicate balance of identity, belonging, and faith. Having lived and worked in Qatar for six years within a diverse international community, I bring a global, nuanced perspective to my relational work. I understand the complex dynamics of mixed-heritage families, navigating differing worldviews, and holding firm to your core values. Beyond my cultural and relational work, my background directing large-scale clinical services means my practice is held to the highest standards of clinical governance and care. Whether you are navigating workplace burnout, the pressures of leadership, or personal questions of heritage and identity, I offer an expert, spiritually sensitive space to support your growth. I've spent 30 years doing this work because I understand what it's like when the outside doesn't match the inside. I know what it means to carry things nobody sees. I've lived it, not just studied it. I'm an integrative therapist, which means I adapt to what you actually need rather than fitting you into my preferred method. I'm trained in Psychodynamic & Schema Therapy, IFS, Somatic Experiencing, DBT-PTSD—but I don't force you into one box. We find what works for you, not what's convenient for me. I'm not interested in teaching you more coping skills or managing symptoms. I want to help you understand why you're wired the way you are, then help you change it. That takes honesty, patience, and someone who won't look away when things get uncomfortable. I've built businesses, raised a family, navigated my own dark corners. I get the weight of responsibility and what it costs to keep everything running while barely keeping yourself together. If you need someone direct, grounded, human, and who won't waste your time—let's talk.

I believe therapy is a great gift that you give to your body, mind and soul- and that gift can improve all the relationships in your personal, work and family relationships. In essence, we want to move towards more ease and enjoyment. We can get curious about what you learnt growing up and in your life to date that created your world-view, your assumptions and even your body's responses to the situations you face. We will also open up new options for your responses so that you can be more authentically yourself within your world. This doesn't just involve thinking differently but being able to use the felt-sense in your body and nervous system. Often, I experience people coming to therapy with knowledge and self awareness but that thing doesn't seem to shift the problem- because it's deep in the body response system. We can work together with all of it, not just the logical mind but what's beneath that may be quietly running the show! I work with an integrative palette of approaches and tools, and share them with you in our conversations. We will work with thoughts and feelings as well as the responses of your body. When we start to shift what is available to our felt-sense, our perceptions and actions can shift dramatically. This is one of the things I love about the recent post-graduate training I've undertaken in Somatic Experiencing. I'm at the Advanced level of training in this method and it informs my approach to trauma, to neurodiversity and to relationships. I've also undertaken significant studies in ADHD and autism to help work with neurodivergence. I work with empathy, curiosity, compassion and respect for your intelligence and goals for yourself.

Louise Perry

Registered Psychotherapist, IFS UKCP HCCP
I've spent over thirty years helping people make sense of complexity. Today I work as an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist and Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner, helping people make the invisible visible. Whether someone comes because they're anxious, overwhelmed, caught in painful relationship patterns or simply feels stuck, I'm interested in helping them understand themselves more clearly by noticing the patterns they couldn't previously see. Before retraining as a psychotherapist, I spent many years in design and technology. That background continues to shape how I work. I'm naturally curious about patterns, systems and the relationships between different parts of a person's life. Sometimes we simply talk. Sometimes images, objects or simple creative materials help make sense of experiences that words alone can't fully describe. There is never any expectation to be artistic. I work in an active, collaborative way. I won't rush you towards solutions, but neither will I sit back and simply listen. Together we'll become curious about what's happening beneath the surface so that, once those patterns become visible, different choices become possible.
