Ummayah Sidhu
Counsellor/Therapist, Ummayah Sidhu | BACP Accredited Psychotherapist | Identity & Heritage Specialist
THE WHOLE STORY APPROACH: I lead with a relational way of working that ensures every part of your journey from your heritage and faith to your professional life is seen and valued.
I am a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist and Counsellor with over 10 years of experience, shaped by a life lived across cultures. As a British-born woman and a Muslim revert, my practice is deeply rooted in understanding the delicate balance of identity, belonging, and faith.
Having lived and worked in Qatar for six years within a diverse international community, I bring a global, nuanced perspective to my relational work. I understand the unique beauty and the complex tensions of mixed-heritage families and the journey of navigating different worldviews while staying true to one's values.
My approach is warm, professional, and spiritually sensitive. Whether you are navigating the pressures of leadership and burnout or exploring personal questions of heritage and identity, I provide a space where all parts of you your faith, your history, and your professional ambitions are held with respect.
I welcome you to reach out for an initial conversation to see how we can work together.

John Castleford
Registered Psychotherapist, MA, MIAEB, FRAI
I have been a psychotherapist and mental health coach for many years, and I now specialise almost exclusively in helping those with, or recovering from, cancer. It's a debilitating disease that I have experienced twice, so I know at first hand the effect it can have on the quality of life and particularly how it makes us feel -- either as a reaction to being diagnosed and undergoing treatment, or when in remission as a survivor, the fear of it recurring.
I can also help family members and close friends, who often feel helpless bystanders.
We have all experienced our feelings dominating what we think, and what we do. But heightened emotions stop us thinking clearly. And that can often lead us to feel out of control.
Unlike many therapists, I do not believe that the adverse effect on our thinking and our behaviour from a life-changing event like cancer is a dysfunctional flaw or a disorder that needs treatment. Typical reactions to cancer --anxiety, fear, stress and low mood -- are part of life. Why cancer often triggers is a range of reactions: shock and denial; Shock and denial that it is happening. Coping with fear, anxiety and panic can be difficult, particularly as mood swings may frequently change. Feelings of sadness may range from low moof to extreme depression.
Ultimately we know, at a rational level, that we are mortal. But we also have we also have a very strong instinct to survive. We want to live. And enjoy life. Cancer is not the death sentence it once was.
I can help you come to terms with the reality as well as the inevitable perceptions that may influence you. And I can help you to flourish, rather than just cope and survive.

Georgie Gee
Registered Psychotherapist, Masters in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
My philosophy is rooted in the belief that effective therapy creates a safe space where young people can explore their inner world and understand the root causes of their distress. By helping adolescents make meaning of their experiences empowers them to develop a stronger sense of self enabling them to navigate future challenges with greater awareness and confidence.

Funmi Oni
Counsellor/Therapist, MBACP, MSc, Dip in PPC
I know what it's like to feel stuck. For two decades, I battled with low self-esteem, watching it chip away at opportunities and relationships. I've also experienced the complexities of marriage firsthand. These aren't just credentials on my wall – they're chapters of my story that help me truly understand what you might be going through.
Since qualifying as a person-centered counselor in 2009, I've developed an approach that adapts to each person who walks through my door. As a registered BACP member and Gottman-trained relationship counselor, I bring both my professional expertise and genuine human understanding to our sessions.
People often tell me I have a way of making them feel instantly at ease. Maybe it's because I believe in you even before we meet. I've seen, time and time again, how people find their own answers when they're given the right space and support to explore them. There's no rush here – we'll move at whatever pace feels right for you. Life has a way of throwing curveballs when we least expect them. Sometimes, these changes knock us off our feet, and that's okay.
What matters isn't how many times we fall, but knowing there's someone ready to help us stand back up. That's where I come in. Think of me as a trusted guide who'll walk beside you as you rediscover your inner strength. I will be honored to be part of your journey.
