Hypnotherapist, PhD
Something in you knows that what you're carrying runs deeper than the presenting problem. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and outwardly composed-yet internally they live with anxiety, depression, chronic tension or pain, relentless self-criticism, or a sense that something essential is blocked, muted, or just out of reach. These struggles may surface in mood, in the body, in behavior, or in relationships-including sexuality and intimacy-but they are rarely contained to any one area. They tend to reflect deeper emotional and relational patterns formed early in life, often before language, that continue to shape how a person approaches closeness, vulnerability, agency, pleasure, and self-expression. My work centers on how early experience shapes the capacity for self-regulation, desire, connection, and meaning throughout life-and particularly on how people come to know what they need and want, how they learn to express or inhibit those impulses, and what happens when these capacities become conflicted, constricted, or difficult to sustain. I integrate psychoanalytic hypnotherapy, somatic awareness, and clinical sexology within a reflective, depth-oriented process. Hypnosis functions as a central clinical tool-creating conditions for deeper internal contact with emotional, bodily, and unconscious experience that can be difficult to reach through conversation alone. The aim is not only relief from symptoms, but the development of a more coherent and compassionate relationship with one's inner life: sensations, emotions, impulses, and desires. This work is oriented toward lasting psychological change-and toward greater freedom in how one relates to oneself, one's body, and one's capacity for connection, authenticity, and vitality. It is best suited to those ready to move beyond symptom management toward something more fundamental.

Therapy can be the stepping stone one needs to get over life hurdles. I meet clients where they are at and encourage each individual to get curious with their lives. When everything looks right but something still feels off, somatic, trauma-focused therapy is where the work begins. You already recognize the pattern. Understanding it hasn't closed the gap between knowing and feeling, because the real shift happens in the body, not the story. Maybe you've done therapy already, and you still don't have what you came for: the ability to make a decision without arguing with yourself, to feel present in your own life, to sleep without your mind still running. What this supports, over time, is a slow and gentle return to aliveness.

Accepting New Clients Feeling like your mind doesn't slow down, no matter how hard you try? Maybe you're overwhelmed, burnt out, or stuck in patterns you're not sure how to step out of, or navigating ADHD, anxiety, grief, or chronic health challenges without knowing where to turn. Maybe you're trying to understand yourself more clearly, or figure out how to move forward in a way that actually feels sustainable. Together, we can slow things down, build insight, and help you feel more grounded and confident day-to-day. We'll start with a free consultation call. I work with individuals 16+ from diverse backgrounds, including 2SLGBTQA+ and neurodivergent communities, as well as those living with chronic illness or disability. Currently completing my Master's degree, I offer a space that is affirming, compassionate, and non-judgmental. Somewhere you can show up without the mask. My approach draws on CBT, ACT, DBT, ERP, and trauma-informed, mindfulness-based practices. I support clients with anxiety, burnout, OCD and phobias, ADHD, grief, life transitions, women's health, and chronic health concerns. Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially if part of you isn’t sure what you’ll find when you get there. You might be used to holding things together on the outside while feeling anxious, disconnected, or overwhelmed underneath. In our work, you don’t have to have it all figured out - you just have to show up as you are. Clients often come to me when they’re ready to understand themselves more deeply, not just manage symptoms. Together, we make sense of the patterns that keep repeating in relationships, the inner tension, and the emotional experiences that feel hard to access or explain. As you begin to feel more grounded and clear, many clients notice a shift toward greater self-trust, more ease in their relationships, and a stronger sense of who they are. If you’re looking for a space that feels thoughtful, steady, and genuinely attuned to your experience, this may be a good fit.
