Michael Nakhla
Psychiatrist, MD
Anger often masks deeper emotions like hurt, fear, or frustration, and my work focuses on helping you understand the root causes of your anger responses. Through a combination of mindfulness techniques, cognitive reframing, and practical coping strategies, I'll help you develop healthier ways to express and manage intense emotions. Together we'll build your capacity to respond rather than react, improving your relationships and overall quality of life.

Fufan Chiang
Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT
Your anger often explodes before you even have a chance to process what is happening. If your relationship is at a breaking point because of your anger, it is a sign that your nervous system is completely overwhelmed and screaming for relief. In our work together, we won’t just try to "control" or suppress your outbursts. We will safely target the root causes—the deep-seated anxiety, hypervigilance, and perfectionism driving that intense pressure—so you can find a lasting sense of internal calm, protect the people you love, and save your connection.

Lauren Palumbo
Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC
Does your anger seem to show up before you even realize what's happening? Maybe you're snapping at loved ones, feeling constantly irritable, or overwhelmed by frustration. Rather than trying to suppress or control your anger, we'll work together to understand what it's protecting and what it may be trying to communicate, creating space for lasting change rather than temporary relief.

Ms. Lorna Hayim-Baker
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, "R"LCSW
I refer to my specialties as, "My Premarital Marathon, "My Marriage Marathon", "My Marathon for Committed Couples Not yet Bound By Marriage" because I love saving relationships and families. I am the only therapist patient enough to actually complete a six hour session with many couples who last that long. Single sessions are just long enough for one individual. Working with couples and avoiding a breakup takes hours of hard work by couples with the right therapist. Weekly sessions have proven to be ineffective, so I designed my couples' therapy to last anywhere between 2-6 hours. Couples only pay for the hours they use. Anger management is incorporated into many of my marathon sessions. If you wear "the hat of anger" then it is addressed during your marathon session. I can easily detect if one or both partners are wearing the "hat of Substance Use Disorder" (SUD) and couples be ware that I will pick up other hats that patients are wearing and which may also be contributing to the demise of their relationship. I am experienced and I am intuitive and I do not hold my tongue. If I see it then I talk about it. Come prepared to expose all your demons and be true to your self. Most likely, I will see it even if you did not come to therapy for that issue. If you cannot handle the truth and are not yet ready to address all your issues, then it may be one of the root causes that are troubling you relationship and you are not aware of it as being an underlying cause, then rethink who you want to call for "marriage/couples" therapy.
