Stress is unavoidable. The ways in which we relate to, cope with and manage stress have a direct impact on how we qualitatively feel in our lives. We will work together to understand the ways in which your physical, emotional and mental experiences of stress are useful sources of information to what is and isn't working in your life. Whatever the trigger, burnout can lead to decreased motivation, increased anxiety, fatigue and poor focus. Ultimately, productivity takes a nosedive and work stress can feel insurmountable. Stress is one of the most important topics to explore and understand comprehensively; it is what creates and causes so many of the other problems we have. If you are reading this blurb about stress, I am sure you are also dealing with problematic behaviours such as anxiety, reactivity, fatigue, depression, anger issues, isolation, and/or sleep disruption, just to name a few. Stress can come from our relationships, work, school, family, etc., and it can be better understood and managed to reduce the negative impact it can have on our lives. When I work with my clients on stress, which I do with every client, we focus in on why the stress is so impactful for the individual, and what tools or protocols can be used to remedy the issue.
