I guide you-mind and body-to make this happen through a blend of narrative therapy, somatic work, and cognitive/dialectical behavior therapy. I also incorporate social justice and spirituality (extremely broadly defined) in my work. Often clients appreciate my focus on diversity, and understanding of the deep-seated pain associated with invalidation of identity and challenges assocated with socioeconomic factors, as I got a masters in sociology before my masters in mental health counseling.
