At LiveConscious, helping clients prevent and reduce burn outs from work and relationships are one of the main goals in addition to improving mental health. The common issues clients seek therapy for are stresses from familial dynamics, intimate relational patterns, and work, with or without some sort of mental health symptoms. As a licensed therapist in Marriage and Family Therapy, experienced with clients with various conditions for both children and adults. LiveConscious clinicians help clients navigate their main concerns by providing education around the topic, exploring creative solutions to problems, and guiding you to arrive at the sound solutions or to learn necessary coping skills to better manage your stressors or mood symptoms. The holistic view of the problem and care are the foundational practice at LiveConscious. A side note, you cannot meditate away all your life problems, especially for those tough or chronic issues. It can be misleading that there are people out there as if teaching a meditation technique alone will fix all your life issues. It's a false advertisement as if learning a trick, such as a meditation technique, will prevent or improve your core issues. Individually tailored therapy treatment at LiveConscious is such a comprehensive and deeper level of transformation that deals with aspects that such learning some meditative technique alone cannot fix/improve. Sometimes it can take years to just find the right Dr. or treatment for your illness. Personally, I had experienced an illness that took 8 years just to get a proper diagnosis to my sickness in health to find the right Dr. who can properly screen and provide you with the treatment that works for your symptoms. Mental health also often I heard from people that took a lifelong to find someone who can help with their symptoms/illness. If you notice mental health symptoms, it's a sign that requires medical attention. The sooner you start, it will be benefitical for you. Hope you find the right treatment Provider who can assist you to get better sooner than later!

Treatment Approach
- Biopsychosocial Therapy Takes into account biological, psychological, and social factors in understanding mental health. It looks at the whole person, not just symptoms.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Feminist Therapy Addresses how gender roles, power, and social inequality affect mental health. It empowers clients to challenge limiting beliefs and systems.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Object Relations Therapy Focuses on how early caregiver relationships shape current relationships. It aims to improve patterns of attachment and trust.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
- Psychosocial Therapy Looks at how social and environmental factors affect psychological health. It emphasizes relationships, community, and resilience.
- Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: The approaches used by therapists can be various. At LiveConscious, post-modern therapy modalities, including solution-focused and narrative therapies, are most commonly used modalities aside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Another exemplary method is utilization of multimodalities by assimilating different modalities in different phases of therapy for each client to accommodate the best approaches for their issues or presenting symptoms which has been used by a leading therapist. So, no two clients' treatment approaches would look the same as tailored approach to each client based on their needs and presentation is the key method promoted at Conscious MFT. The relationship between the therapist and the client is an essential part of the therapy to be successful. Asking questions to your therapist if the client has any concerns about their treatment area would be most helpful.

****More information on the Practice;
A secure online platform will be used for weekly sessions. The Practice has found that online/telehealth therapy has been an effective and safe method to meet with clients which provides its own unique benefits, such as the convenience of being at home or at work for clients to help manage busy schedule, financial and time saving from reduced traveling needs, as well as increased attendance and treatment outcome.
Telehealth's another key benfit is the ability to provide the quality service/Clinician unbounded by geographical locations. The present lack of awareness and limited service access in mental health field is mind-boggling. For example, Bipolar is when someone is experiencing extreme polar emotional fluctuations at different times. We all can experience opposite emotional experiences that can be a part of life. It is up to the clinicians to examine whether your symptoms are clinically significant or not. When it is diagnosed, it often necessitates medication treatment along with psychotherapy as it is one of the most difficult conditions to treat without medication in severe to moderate presentations. It is also one of highly complex diagnoses that a master's level educated licensed marriage and family therapists and social workers, for example, are not typically expected to diagnose bipolar disorder. At the Practice, the skilled practitioner/Clinician is available who's been experienced with identifying such complicated symptoms in a much shorter period as well as to provide effective clinical treatment and recommendations. Researches found that it takes about 10 years for someone to be properly diagnosed with complicated diagnosis, such as bipolar from the time the person first contact a mental health service for help. They are commonly misdiagnosed with depression. That is a 10 year of wasted life, energy, deteriorated relationships, and reduced productivity/income on someone. I highly recommend contacting the office asap if you suspect that you have the related and/or other various symptoms.
Last note on the therapy service inquiry, only serious inquiries are welcome to save time on both of us. Starting a therapy journey is an investment in one's future life. It will require time, conscious, and even financial committment for at least next 3 to 6 months. Those who are committed in the process and ready will likely reap the rewards. The Practice wants to hear from those who are ready for the positive change-making-process!
