Robin Renucci (She/Her)
Licensed Professional Counselor, Ed.D, Ed.S, M.Ed, LPC, NCC
As a counselor, I am dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and life experiences with honesty and intention. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process—one that empowers you to deepen self-understanding, break free from limiting patterns, and cultivate greater resilience, clarity, and connection.
I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs, whether you're facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck or overwhelmed. My work is grounded in respect, empathy, and the belief that meaningful change happens when you feel seen, heard, and supported.
Wherever you are in your journey, my goal is to walk alongside you as you move toward greater balance, authenticity, and well-being.

Treatment Approach
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: My counseling approach is grounded in a person-centered philosophy, emphasizing empathy, respect, and unconditional positive regard. I often integrate cognitive and behavioral strategies with the belief that when we learn to think differently, we can begin to act differently—and ultimately, feel more empowered and at peace.
I am committed to creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and free from judgment. Reducing stigma and honoring each individual’s unique experience are central to my practice. Your confidentiality and trust are paramount, and you can count on me to be a compassionate ally and thoughtful sounding board throughout our work together.
