We provide person-centered counselling, which means that your sessions will focus on whatever you want to talk about. Each of our counsellors specializes in helping with different concerns. Here are some things we can help with: ADHD (new diagnosis, learning to manage it, processing impact on your life and relationships, etc), personal growth, identity exploration, life transitions, self-compassion, goal setting, relationships, separation and divorce, parenting challenges, stress management, anxiety, depression, trauma/abuse, grief and loss, new health diagnosis, substance abuse, eating disorders, family conflict. We have many counsellors on the team who have completed advanced training to effectively support clients with ADHD (undiagnosed and diagnosed). We also have Gottman trained couples therapists. Our team works with children, youth, adults, seniors, couples, and families. In addition to having a team of Registered Clinical Counsellors, Gravitate offers affordable counselling support with services provided by Counselling Student Interns who are in the final stages of completing their masters degree and are supervised by an experienced Registered Clinical Counsellor. Sessions with Counselling Student Interns are $50+GST/50 minute appointment.
