People come to therapy during difficult times in their lives. Our practice is set up to help reduce the stress of going to therapy and designed to eliminate feeling ashamed about going to therapy. In our practice patients are included as part of the treatment team. We encourage people to ask questions and make suggestions. We want to hear your opinion. We also know therapy can be expensive therefore we have a sliding fee scale for those who need it. We also accept most insurance. In our practice we also serve as expert witnesses and 730 Experts. Our goal is to help make a difficult time easier and to help you make the changes that you want in your life. We offer traditional therapy for adults and teens and play therapy for children. Also we are approved by the State to assess and treat domestic violence and anger management. We provide one of the only anger management groups for teens in Contra Costa. Also we perform psychological evaluations and evaluations for Bariatric surgery and ADHD testing. We also work with schools and can assist with IEPs and 504 plans. Another service we offer is EMDR therapy. We also treat PTSD so we work with victims of abuse, military families and veterans. We offer session times in the evening so therapy won't interfere with work or school. Again our main goal is to work with you to help you improve your life or to deal with the current situation occurring in your life. We also are available for Critical Incident Debriefing. Our office is located in downtown Pleasant Hill close to the freeway, there is bus stop at our office and we have plenty of parking
