Sue De Santo

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW
I offer online therapy for adults in many seasons of life, from young adults in their 20s to older adults in their 80s, who want to improve their relationship with themselves and with others. Through telehealth, I support clients navigating a wide range of issues and major life transitions—such as new marriages, becoming a parent or grandparent, adjusting to an empty nest, retirement, or moving into community living—so they feel less alone, more grounded, and better equipped to meet these changes with clarity and care.

Fort Collins, Colorado therapist: Margaret Graham, licensed professional counselor
Serving Buddhist

Margaret Graham

Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, LCPC, LPCC
About My Practice I provide specialized online therapy for adults (18+) navigating anxiety, trauma, and complex life challenges. Through evidence-based therapeutic techniques delivered in a secure virtual environment, I create a supportive space for healing and personal transformation from wherever you are. My approach focuses on getting to the root of what's creating your struggles rather than just managing surface symptoms. My Approach My practice centers on what I call "updating your operating system"—we explore the roots of your patterns, understand how you got where you are, and consciously choose where you want to go next. This isn't about dwelling in the past; it's about understanding yourself more deeply so you can move forward with clarity and confidence. I bring together evidence-based techniques like CBT, ACT, Coherence Therapy, and clinical hypnosis with mindfulness practices, creating sessions that are collaborative and organic rather than rigid or prescribed. Here's what might surprise you: one of the most powerful dimensions of real change is acceptance. Not the passive, resigned kind, but the courageous turning toward where you are with care and curiosity. This approach allows you to look squarely at reality and move forward from a place of truth rather than resistance. Areas of Specialization I specialize in supporting clients with: Anxiety: Managing generalized worry, social anxiety, perfectionism-driven anxiety, decision paralysis, and the anxiety that stems from unprocessed trauma Trauma Processing: Working through childhood trauma, parentification, relational wounds, and past experiences that continue to shape how you move through the world today Complex Family Dynamics: Navigating challenging relationships with adult children, aging parents, partners, and other family members where boundaries feel blurred Grief and Loss: Processing loss in its many forms—of people, relationships, the life you thought you'd be living, or your sense of purpose and identity Patterns That No Longer Serve: Breaking cycles of people-pleasing, over-functioning, perfectionism, and abandoning your own needs to care for others Benefits of Online Therapy My virtual practice offers several advantages: - Access specialized trauma-informed therapy from the comfort of your own space - Greater scheduling flexibility across multiple time zones - Elimination of travel time and transportation barriers - A familiar environment that may enhance feelings of safety during vulnerable work Getting Started I work best with people who are managing to keep their heads above water but know something needs to shift—those experiencing mild to moderate concerns rather than acute crises. I welcome clients who are curious, open to looking at their lives holistically, and interested in a partnership approach. If you're willing to do the sometimes uncomfortable work of growth and want genuine understanding rather than therapy-speak, we'll likely be a good match. My style is warm, direct, and refreshingly real. Research shows the most important factor in successful therapy is whether you feel genuinely understood and emotionally safe with your therapist—building that authentic connection is central to how I work. Licensed in Colorado, California, and Maryland. Specialized training in Coherence Therapy, ACT, CBT, and clinical hypnosis.

I value a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, honesty, and mutual engagement. A secure online platform will be used for weekly sessions. I have found that online/telehealth therapy has been an effective and safe method to meet with clients which provides its own unique benefits, such as the convenience of being at home or at work for clients to help manage busy schedule, financial and time saving from reduced traveling needs, as well as health conscious people. Therapy services utilizing telehealth mode showed in research studies with increased attendance and treatment outcome. Telehealth's another key benfit is the ability to provide the quality service/Clinician unbound by geographical locations. The availability of online therapy expand the opportunity to meet the service needs for more people with personal, practical limitations. For example, Bipolar is when someone is experiencing extreme polar emotional fluctuations at different times. We all can experience opposite emotional experiences that can be a part of life. It is up to the clinicians to examine whether your symptoms are clinically significant or not. When it is diagnosed, it often necessitates medication treatment along with psychotherapy as it is one of the most difficult conditions to treat without medication in severe to moderate presentations. It is also one of highly complex diagnoses that a master's level educated licensed marriage and family therapists and social workers, for example, are not typically expected to diagnose bipolar disorder. At the Practice, the skilled practitioner/Clinician is available who's been experienced with identifying such complicated symptoms in a much shorter period as well as to provide effective clinical treatment and recommendations. Researches found that it takes about 10 years for someone to be properly diagnosed with complicated diagnosis, such as bipolar from the time the person first contact a mental health service for help. They are commonly misdiagnosed with depression. That is a 10 year of wasted life, energy, deteriorated relationships, and reduced productivity/income on someone. I highly recommend contacting the office asap if you suspect that you have the related and/or other various symptoms. Starting a therapy journey is an investment in one's future life. It will take time, conscious and even financial committment for at least next 3 to 6 months for most people. Just like many aspects in life, the commitment to work on making the necessary changes in yourself is the requirement to see effective results in therapy. Those who are committed in the process and ready will leap the rewards. The practice wants to hear from those who are ready for making the positive changes!

Glendale has the highest concentration of Armenian Americans of any city outside Armenia, with a community that brings a distinct cultural framework to mental health — including intergenerational trauma from the Armenian Genocide, strong family and community cohesion, and particular patterns of help-seeking that therapists need to understand to provide effective care. The city is also home to a large Iranian, Korean, and Latino population, giving its therapy community a genuinely multilingual and multicultural character. USC Verdugo Hills Hospital and the Glendale Adventist Medical Center provide institutional mental health resources alongside a private practice community concentrated in the residential hills and Brand Boulevard corridor. Glendale's proximity to the entertainment industry means some therapists also work with creative professionals navigating the psychological pressures of careers in film and television.
