Loss and grief are inevitable. We experience these feelings when we've lost someone close to us whether it be through death, separation or shifts in relationship dynamics. We can also experience these feelings when we've gone through significant changes in our lives - we may be grieving our past selves, grieving what we never had, experiencing the loss of a job, a home, a pet, a friendship, or a life we envisioned. Whatever it may be, grief and loss are painful experiences that we must face at some point. For some people, these feelings are able to subside over time; however for others, these feelings may persist for a significant amount of time, worsen over time, and greatly impact your overall quality of life.
Either way, you deserve to have space and support to explore and express these feelings. If you are suffering from grief and/ or loss, please reach out to get the support you need.

Recovery through an experiential means of grieving is essential in that one cannot get over the heartbreak until they allow themselves to feel it. Experiential focused techniques involve fully experiencing our emotions and unmet needs, in effort to transcend this pain. One of my most unique specialties focus on Survivors of Suicide(S.O.S), I am a trained Survivors of Suicide(S.O.S), facilitator who has previously co-facilitated this group, for those who are grieving the loss of a family member or loved one by suicide. One of the complexities of mourning a suicide involves the additional shock of a sudden death, in which the bereaved may not feel they had the chance to ask or say what they needed to. The second tier of this grief involves a violent death. Many mourners suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, particularly if they have discovered the body. This often adds to a sense of sur-realness or not fitting in with the rest of grieving society. The support system of survivors of suicide may be weaker than those afflicted with other types of mourning. Loved ones may pull away due to their own sense of helplessness and discomfort, leaving them with a further sense of isolation and loss. Survivors require guidance regarding how to talk to their children about the manner in which their loved one died. Due to the many complexities of this process, survivors of suicide may get stuck in any particular phase of grief or take much longer to complete them. As a result of all these special challenges, survivors of suicide require enough safety to share their story with others, whom they feel can understand the uniqueness of their pain. This is a particularly special and complicated grieving process which I believe requires the specific training and experience which I offer to clinically assist those who are in this category of mourners.

Grief is a deeply isolating experience, and our culture frequently rushes people to 'move on' before they are truly ready. In my practice, I believe that loss cannot be neatly resolved or fixed; instead, it needs to be safely carried and witnessed. I offer a gentle, non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are, with all of the messy, unpredictable emotions that accompany profound loss. Together, we will honour your timeline, process the emotional weight at your own pace, and gently explore how to carry your grief forward without losing your connection to yourself.

Grief is more than sadness, it's the weight of losing someone or something that mattered. It can feel isolating, confusing, and exhausting all at once. You might be grieving a death, an ended relationship, a major life change, or a loss that others don't fully understand.
I work with adults navigating grief at their own pace. We don't rush the process or expect you to "move on." Instead, we slow down together, understand what you're carrying, and help your nervous system process the loss in a way that feels safe and grounded.
Grief isn't something to fix or "get over." It's something to integrate- to learn how to live alongside it while reconnecting with yourself, your life, and the people who matter.
I offer a relational, somatic approach that honours both your loss and your resilience.
Whether you're grieving a recent loss or carrying old grief that's surfacing, there's space for you here. Reach out for a free 15-min consult to see if we are a good fit!
