The beauty of hypnosis is we get into the subconscious mind, beyond your inner critic and sensors. This is where our beliefs, emotions, habits, memories and imagination lives. With hypnosis, we essentially reprogram your core operating system, and the shift can happen in an instant; in fact, most clients are free of the original issue within 1-3 sessions, with resolution of the root cause, and feeling safe in their own minds and comfortable in their own skin.

Carey Luker

Licensed Professional Counselor, LMHC, LPC
Hi, I’m Carey Luker, a licensed therapist in South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Florida. I work with adults of all ages, and I especially enjoy supporting college students, young adults, and people going through career or life transitions. Starting therapy can feel uncomfortable or even a little scary, especially if you’re used to pushing through things on your own. My goal is to make therapy feel like a safe, relaxed space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and not worry about being judged. You don’t need to have the “right words” or everything figured out before starting. For over 13 years, I’ve helped people work through anxiety, ADHD, stress from school or work, burnout, relationship struggles, low self-esteem, boundary setting, and those moments in life where you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what comes next. Sometimes people come to therapy because everything feels too heavy, and sometimes they just want to understand themselves better and feel more balanced again. My approach is supportive, practical, and tailored to you. I use tools from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, IFS, and neurodivergent-affirming approaches, but more importantly, I focus on creating a real connection where you feel comfortable being yourself. I believe growth looks different for everyone. Therapy isn’t about having all the answers or getting everything “right.” It’s about having support while you learn, heal, grow, and navigate life a little more gently. You deserve a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and work toward becoming the version of yourself you want to be.

Alignment Psychotherapy, PLLC

Psychologist, LP, PhD
Pain often shows up when there’s a gap between who we are right now and who we hope to become. This disconnect can be shaped by internal challenges like anxiety, depression, ADHD, physical health issues, or unresolved trauma, as well as external pressures such as difficult relationships, job demands, or broader systems of inequality and injustice. All of these factors can make it harder to recognize what truly matters to us and take steps in that direction. As therapists, our aim is to support your mental well-being, help you reconnect with your values, and empower you to build a life that feels more fulfilling, purposeful, and aligned with who you want to be.

Get results without going to the office! Access all our dynamic services (Individual Therapy for adults, Holistic and integrative Psychiatry, Life Optimization, and Performance & Creativity Enhancement) – to go! Telemedicine (video-based) allows for online counseling and services from the convenience of your home, office, or hotel (as long as it is in a state where we are licensed). This method of care can help you feel at ease in settings better matched to your personality, schedule, and lifestyle. We have provided online therapy options since 2017 - before the pandemic enabled it as a mainstream service - and are therefore well-versed in both helping you feel comfortable and see desired results through this digital session option. Telemedicine is a great option for the following reasons: * You want a specialized expert * It is convenient for your schedule and lifestyle * You or your child suddenly feel sick so now you can’t make it to your in-office appointment * You live in a rural community with limited access to mental health providers * You want to maintain your regular session schedule when traveling We can talk through online video calls (accessible from laptops, phones, or tablets) to work on your goals from nearly anywhere!

I work, now, at home so I can be available to my wife, since we are aging. A secure zoom account allows us to communicate an interact face to face, very much like we are in an office. When I do couples or family work the participants can be in the same room or in different places. I offer my patients teaching about numerous tools for their growth that they can use on there own without being dependent on me.

Telehealth psychology support for life adjustments, trauma, relationships, and body issues. With technology, you can experience all the benefits of in-person therapy in the comfort and privacy of your own home and have continuity of care when you travel. It can be especially helpful to those who find it challenging to travel to an office for appointments due to location, work, children at home, lifestyle, or other practical or personal reasons. You may be located abroad or be a professional who travels, telehealth allows you to get the support and resources and meet you where your life is at. While there are multiple ways that counseling can take place online, I work primarily with face-to-face video conferencing via Zoom and, on occasion, telephone sessions. I always hold my sessions in a quiet and confidential space, giving you the same confidentiality & professionalism that you experience within an office setting. Most, if not all, of my clients, find virtual sessions to be highly effective and convenient. They allow for the comfort and safety of therapy in your own space, and no travel time is often less vulnerable than needing to go to an office. Research of multiple studies finds that online therapy is equally effective as in-person for most cases. That being said I always advocate for what works best for each individual and it is wonderful to have choices to find your best path whichever that may be. If you are not tech-savvy or anxious about using technology, I'll make it as seamless as possible. I have chosen a platform that is easy to use, and I am happy to assist you with any questions or concerns. A common concern I hear from clients regarding online therapy is finding a quiet and/or confidential space when you’re homebound with children, and/or family members or roommates. Please plan this out in advance so you have quiet and privacy during your session. Since it is so convenient many times people forget to allow themselves a few minutes to "switch hats" and allow themselves a few breaths and get settled into being present and in the head/body space for your session. Headphones or AirPods can often make audio clearer or provide more privacy, but are not necessary. Given that video sessions can be conducted on your smartphone, clients have found it helpful to go to a park, connect from wherever you may be, and/or walk around your neighborhood. Get creative and support yourself. Find a private space that allows you to receive support no matter where you are. You are welcome to have pets join your space if you find that comforting and supporting, and you may see my fellow feline/canine therapists join in one of our sessions on my end.

In fact, my clients often tell me our virtual sessions feel just as warm, authentic, and deeply connected as if we were sitting in the same room. I specialize in helping healthcare providers, executives, and high-achieving professionals who feel burned out, stuck, or quietly overwhelmed—especially folks who’ve been so busy taking care of everyone else they’ve lost touch with themselves. Not your typical therapy model, because I am not your typical therapist. My approach to therapy is straightforward — understand what is getting in the way, figure out why, and build a clear path forward. I work with adults, couples, and high-achieving professionals who are ready to make real changes, not just talk about them. I am Dr. Lyndsay Elliott, a licensed clinical psychologist with a PsyD and a postdoctoral fellowship from UCLA. For over 20 years I have provided evidence-based psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, consultations and expert witness testimony to clients navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, chronic stress, relationship conflict, narcissistic abuse recovery, couples conflict, family conflict, and major life transitions. My style is warm and engaged, but also direct. Therapy should be useful — sessions that deliver genuine insight, practical tools, and honest feedback that actually moves the needle. I integrate cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused intervention, and trauma-informed care, tailoring every treatment plan to each client's specific goals and circumstances. I am PSYPACT authorized, serving adults and couples via secure telehealth therapy across most states — making expert psychological care accessible wherever you are. Online therapy makes it possible to access expert psychological care from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Licensed in multiple states and a PSYPACT-authorized licensed clinical psychologist with 20+ years of experience, I provide secure telehealth therapy for anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship conflict, narcissistic abuse recovery, infertility, and life transitions — available to adults and couples across 40+ states. No commute. No waiting room. Just real, evidence-based support when and where you need it.
