Therapy is about what works best for each person. Online sessions can also offer meaningful connection and support, especially when meeting in person isn’t possible. Whether in the same room or across the miles, the goal is always the same: creating a safe space for healing, growth, and understanding.
Choosing in-person therapy is a return to the origin of human connection, where healing is felt through eye contact, gentle gestures, and the subtle rhythms of shared energy. It is this tangible, heartfelt encounter that nurtures not just the mind, but the spirit, offering a sanctuary where transformation truly unfolds.
Whatever your preference, therapy is a journey walked together with warmth, trust, and the simple, timeless gift of human connection.
Take the first step! Reach me via call, WhatsApp, Zoom or Teams and let's work together to navigate whatever challenge you are facing.

My Story
My name is Valerie and I am a Registered Member of CMA and have extensive experience in counselling. I had firsthand experience in domestic violence which resulted in major trust and insecurity issues. Having embarked upon counselling, I have worked through past issues which have benefited me immensely. This is one of my main reasons to take the career path as a registered counsellor so that I can assist others who have been through trauma and abuse. I believe change is possible and have made it my life purpose to now assist others in discovering their authentic self whilst overcoming past, present and future challenges. I understand the effect of various traumas and the impact it can have on individual daily functioning, personal development as well as social and family interactions. I can offer you a safe place, time and non-judgmental environment to explore whatever the issue may be leading, to a more positive and fulfilling life. As an individual who knows that life can sometimes let you down, I am open minded, caring non-judgmental, empathic, warm hearted, honest and polite. The main Counselling Approach I use is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Person Centred Therapy. I also work as a Integrative counsellor. I am a firm believer in these therapies to help to improve your life to move forward in a positive way.

Wonderful Mess
Counsellor/Therapist, Master of Social Work, Diploma of Counselling
I am passionate about helping people because of my own story of going through hell and back.
Over the past 9 years, I have gone from not believing mental health was a thing, to severe burnout due to workplace bullying, then a car accident, to educating myself on mental health to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I now see it as my duty to give back, to help others going through what life throws at them. Because, I swear to you, things can get better.
I sincerely believe that we all need counselling at some point (or several points) in our lives.
I am here to tell you that you are not alone. I will hold your hand while you are working through whatever is causing you to struggle, and to uncover all these strengths within you that you may not even know you have.
